Coronation Street

Saw a clip of the next episode on Loose Women (it was in the first few minutes before I had chance to turnover, honestly!) re: Todd/Sarah/Jason - and was actually shocked by what happened - didn't expect that al all.

(I won't spoil it for anyone else!)

No, there are 2 flats above the Kabin, one is number 10 (Rita's flat) and the other is Number 12 (Steve/Karen's flat), which Reg Holdsworth used to live in. I remember when Derek drilled into Reg's waterbed he was drilling in the stock room of the Kabin. How they manage to fit 2 flats above the Kabin I dont know as it isnt all that big!

So does anyone know what the scuttling noise in Ashley/Fred's roof is all about? Is it actually rats, or could it be Maxine's cat which they stopped mentioning (Benny from Crossroads style) a while back?

Great Corrie AGAIN tonight! You dont get this on Eastenders (who according to This Morning - only got 6.2 million viewers last night!!)

I agree best Corrie have seen in ages, worth dragging it out for an hour, it was quite sudden for Todd to leave, but it was done very well. A bit of strong language too, though it was good viewing, the best bit being at the end when Gail and Candice found out.

Also got to see a bit more of the Grimshaw's front room.

I did think that tonight's episode was supposed to be an hour long special though when it was quite obviously two seperate half hour episodes. What with characters like Fred and Ashley appearing throughout the second half and no Gail in the first half. Until that business with Maya the post-8pm show was a bit like when someone wins a million on WWTBAM and then a new constestant starts back at £100!

Well the inevitable happened and Todd left the street (with all his belongings in a single holdall no less), I still think they should have kept Todd and Sarah together and lived happilly ever after, I've gone right off Sarah lately, no doubt Bruno Langley will end up on Where the Heart is or The Bill or if his career goes really badly a Five reality show. Good to see Gail and Sarah finally being put in their place at the end too.

Looks like corrie have used their one and only "You *******" for the year.

So does Todd come back? When?

Tonight’s episode was great. I agree it was clearly 2 episodes stuck together, didn’t need an hour anyway, Todd had left by the end of the first episode. Im not a huge fan of Todd but even I felt sorry for him after the way Jason treated him. He had no right to slap Sarah though.

Actually I think they are allowed to say the word ******* 4 times a year on Corrie, I read it in a magazine. I also don’t think Todd will be back on the show, not in the immediate future anyway.

Is "*******" acceptable pre-watershed ?

this might be a redundant question at the beginning - (as I haven't listened to Emmerdales endcredits for a hour long show recently) but why does Corrie's hour show constitue extended end-credits and emmy doesn't - (feel free to ignore/flame me if emmy had extended credits last night)

I think it is if the script is relevant enough and they dont do it all the time, Reet called Alan Bradley a ******* pre water shed and that was back in 1989!

Both Em and Coro St use extended credits for hour long episodes.
