Of course knowing whats going to happen in last nights second episode, my mother changed over from BBC One to ITV1 just before the Eastenders end credits, but by then Vera had already died.

I don't think it was smart of the writers to put Vera's moment of death so bloody close to the start. Couldn't they wait at least five minutes?

The ratings for the actual moment of death shouldn't be too high because they're all watching the Eastenders end credits.

She died towards the end of the first episode though. Confused

Then what's the point of having a second episode if she's going to die in the first one?

Woah. Having just seen the repeat on ITV1, I have to say it's left me quite upset. Yep I also shed a few tears... definitely the end of an era.

Just caught the repeat today, what a touching and realistic way for Vera to go - full marks to Corrie on this one. The 2nd episode really sholud've left out the pathetic and boring Ryan storyline and made a little more of the (rather poorly written and dull) knicker party - so there would have been a very sad/very funny contrast that Corrie used to pull off so well.

I hope they continue to make David/Tina fun - there's been enough evil behaviour from David now.

I'm getting really tired of Steve, he's a great character but totally over-used these days. And if there's one more scene with Michelle crying and bawling, I'm turning off.

I'm fed up with "Ryyyyyaaaan!" disappearing then coming back, then disappearing then coming back then disappearing..then..

you get the picture.

Yes. And also they have to have 2 episodes on a Friday now they have moved Corrie from Sunday to make room for Dancing on Ice. And we all know they would never cut the episodes down.
