What a sad end. And there was no announcer and screencrap on the credit sequence which was lovely.

Very touching episodes tonight. Nice to not have an announcer talking over the credits though.

Well that got the waterworks going. So they done something right. cos normally i'm a tough girl.

People handle death in diffrent ways i think Jack handled it very well he was in shock .Then later he had a cry on his own .I think it's quite refreshing as someone else pointed out nothing big and fancy or unbelievable i'm sick of all those big exits .

Loved Martha Longhursts the best though snuffed it in the snug whilst Ena and co were having a sing song .I wished they would repeat it all on ITV 3 all the old ones .

How morbid you want a repeat of corrie deaths?

The other storylines were suitably moved into the background in the 2nd episode with just one scene per other storyline to split the episode up a bit

Morbid no not me .If you bothered to read the post i wished they would repeat it "ALL" meaning all the episodes of Corrie.Just like they used to on Granada Plus.

They couldn't have done the Vera and Jack scenes any better. Superb acting - Jack's reaction was bang on.

Shame it was spoiled by the other, pointless storylines.
