Well why shouldn't people complain if that happens? I can't see us getting silent credits though - I don't think Vera dies at the very end so it might seem a bit out of place.

I predict I'll be crying tonight though.

He is a true fan of Corrie and can see its faults at present. He will continue to watch out of loyalty to the show.

They are covering Vera's exit on the ITV News.

I can't say I'm looking forward to tonight's show at all really - I think it's going to be a bit of an anti-climax and Vera isn't going to get the exit the character deserves.


And I don't believe there has been anything like the build up to it as there was with Mike and Fred.

Now, that would be great if we didn't know she was going to die, but as it is keeping the pre-publicity to a minimum suggests they don't really care that much about it.


Let's face it - they're trying to get viewers watching to find out how she dies, but it's not like it's going to be Jack's strangling her or Vera ending up in a freak bungee jumping accident or something is it.



I'm taping tonight's shows, but they'll be the first I've seen this year I think - and I don't think the aftermath will get me watching again either.

I reckon we'll get silent credits with an out-pan zoom on Jack - although I still reckon the anno will speak over the top.

I don't keep having a go at you. The only time I do is when you twist what I say.

I like Corrie - I love Corrie. I just don't like the current state of the show. As Pad says, I continue to watch it because I'm a loyal fan and loyal fans don't desert it.

Not having to share the episodes with Ryan and Michelle? The fact the episodes aren't even going to focus solely on Vera's story (and remember I don't mean every scene HAS to feature Vera but ti should revolve around her) doesn't bode well.
