Alot of the population have PVRs now (a freeview-playback is as little as £50) to avoid all the adverts - so I'm not sure why they are increasing the number of IPPs. They spoil the programme you are watching and are pointless when the programme they advertised ended hours before the one you are watching.

that is like assuming the more people I see fishing the more likely I am to take up fishing as a hobby

Im not quite sure if this is Kevin's first offence - he has hit quite a few of Sally's fella's in the past!
good point, he does thump first, think later.

how stupid was that court hearing, sent down for his first offence for hitting a teacher who slept with his technically underaged daughter
and what was Sophie doing in there, thought minors (under 16s) weren't allowed in courtrooms

Erm perhaps because around 10m of the population are still watching live ?
Good episodes last night, Sally was good I thought, and Carla is the new soap super bitch.

So far Kevin has hit Chris Collins, Greg Kelly, Danny (who she was engaged too), Martin Platt, Alex (the dishy decorator), Ian Davenport.
Blimey Sally's had more men than I thought - anyone I missed? So Kevin is lucky none of them have pressed charges before now.
I love the bitchy Carla - it was bad of Maria to call Carla a slapper though - pot kettle Maria love.

I quitle like the new girl who's come in as David's girlfriend - she's a good Corrie fiestyness about her - and I hope that this pairing will move David's character on from the last 18 months into something more mature. She rather reminds me of how David used to be, quite cutting with his comments - but in a smart and amusing way, rather than just nasty. Hopefully now he's had a shag he'll grow up a bit. It would be nice to see a warmer relationship develop between him and Gail - there were some little signs of that this week - and I think it's more true to his original character.
But as Corrie is so storyline driven now, I doubt we've seen the back of Demon David.

Is it me, or does Tina resemble a younger version of Karen McDonald?
