according to our friends at digital spy corry is on on sunday.

now I'm confused, if we have no episode on Sunday the it should have been shown tonight not on Monday, that will knock all the episodes out of sync. So my guess is that Sunday's episode is on and we start with a Friday double on Jan 11th (the 2nd episode being what would have been shown on Sunday 13th)

That is correct - there is a double next Friday which is the episode that would have gone out on the Sunday, so the Monday doubles will then be in sync on 14th.

Great episode tonight. It was also nice to have a David free episode. My poor Liam though Shocked Wink

Anyone watch the funny side of the street? It was nice to see some old clips however there were some featured I think we would sooner forget like the Boxing Match and Tyrone driving the burger van which was on fire into a lake.

thought they could have shown some outakes like they did on the first programme.

forget Poor Liam Jez, because the way that shot was filmed it looked like he'd landed on the dog Shocked

Is there normally a corrie omnibus on ITV on Saturday afternoons? I also notice Emmerdale omnibus on ITV2 this afternoon. I've never noticed the omnibuses late afternoon on sats before.

This is the 2nd week we have had a Corrie omnibus on ITV1, before that it was on ITV2.

The Emmerdale omnibus used to be on from 9.25am on ITV2 on Saturdays I believe but it looks like they have moved it to the afternoon now the Corrie omnibus is on ITV1

It was only 2 hours long this afternoon - so did they miss an episode?

Perhaps there are less breaks?

been looking at the first corry post from 03/04, funny what story rumors turned out to be true, untrue or partically true.

Sarah did loose here baby, Sally's hardware shop didn't become a nail bar (it was also going to be Dev's amusement arcade at one point) and Sally and Rosie didn't die in a car crash although She did take Rosie on a mad high speed drive through the moors.

Funy how you guys hated the idea of Bradley Walsh joining.

And now I just hate the idea of him returning. This is Corrie - not EastEnders. Just because he can't get another job doesn't mean they should have him back!

Thats right. I only watched the first episode of the omnibus today then I went out, but they didnt take an ad break until the end of the first episode (Sarah at the airport). I assume later on in the omnibus they cut out some (if not all) of the mid episode breaks and just have a break after each episode.

Also each episode of Corrie is something like 22 mins long so all five episodes plus ads would fit into a 2 hour slot.

Um who says he cant get another job? He has done a couple of dramas since leaving Corrie - one of which was a 3 part series - I think he has been getting enough work in his first year away from Corrie.

Also has it even been confirmed he is returning - this rumour has been doing the rounds since he left.

Well I only have limited amount of sympathy for Liam not a good idea to climb down an almost vertical cliff face in damp weather, without climbing gear Shocked Wink

I enjoyed Funny Side of the Street, a little too much emphasis on recent clips though-- perhaps could have delved into the archives a bit more? Nice to hear all the killer Blanchisms again though.

Burger van thing was silly, as Michael Starke said you would get out and call the fire-brigade-- not drive into a lake Laughing

These programmes are all the same - Its as if nothing before 1990 ever happened. The only thing from pre 1990s they seemed to show was Hilda's "muriel".
