Its ridiculous, a lot of people forget the second episode anyway - well I do.

Have you considered seeking medication for your short-term memory loss problems?

Only stupid people. The Monday double bill has been a fixed part of the schedule for years now. Even people like me who only watch once in a blue moon are aware.

I feel really that the Friday 8.30 edition of Corrie intrudes on the weekend schedule more than it currently does on a Sunday night myself. I'd have preferred the soaps axed on Friday and kept on Sunday really.

Anyway, confirmation now the Sunday episode is axed in favour of a double bill on Fridays - which probably means the Friday 7.30pm edition will now just be a filler episode too (like Mondays), and also probably means they'll be few editions set at the weekend.

Wouldn't just be easier to scrap the Sunday episode altogether, rather than move it? I just think Coro could do with losing an episode (or possibly two)-- I'm sure actors and scriptwriters would agree Laughing

Great rating for EastEnders as its rare for EastEnders to go out on a Wednesday night.

That is true, might raise the talk for EE going 5 nights

The BBC ruled out Eastenders going 5 nights a week because of budget cuts.
