Congratulations to Corrie on winning the four TV Quick Awards - especially Tina and Sam who really deserve their awards Smile

Visiting Manchester - I've been there twice in the past month, not been anywhere near Quay Street, have past the BBC at Oxford Road many times, and yes, I did go to Canal Street Rolling Eyes Smile

I'm pleased Sam Aston got an award. Still think Betty Driver deserves an award for just being the eldest member of the cast!

As Corrie won 4 awards at the TV Quick Awards, lets hope this is a good sign for the NTA next month.

What did everyone think of the Corrie special about the McDonalds tonight? I thought it was great. Also noticed whenever we get these type of programmes YTV make them rather than Granada.

Thought the Corrie special was excellent. They really do sound like a fun bunch to work with. Loved the story about filming Steve getting smacked in the gob by Eileen.

Yes, note how they used the proper theme on this one!

It's not the first time that has been mentioned, but I did indeed enjoyed the Special tonight, it was quite nice to show it immediately after Corrie, plus some of the old clips were very good, especially from the McDonalds' early days on the street, though I actually do remember alot of them, as they were shown on Plus, my favourite early one was the one where Andy and Steve drive the bulldozer into the Corner Shop, though they admitted they weren't allowed to drive it as they were only 14 at the time! Very good stuff though...

Anyway back to tonight's, again I enjoyed it, this whole thing with Steve and Karen is getting better, a very good mix of drama and comedy.

It's also the second time this week that they have used The Trafford Centre for filming! (For those who have no clue the bit where Steve and Karen were on the escaltor was at TTC and the bit where the gay guy on Monday night (Sorry forgot his name) was on the phone to Eileen was again at TTC) Must be a popular choice.

Yes I liked all the clips they showed. Looking forward to the Platts and Barlow's family albums.

Suranne Jones was great in those scenes at the Trafford Centre.

Corrie St Secrets was good, liked the bits about Brian's "perm" and the various Todd / Nick / Karl scenes.

Just caught Corrie on ITV2 then and I think after a poor summer I think it is getting better and better now, I enjoyed tonight's very much, good chemistry between Steve and Tracey, thought their scene in the middle of the street was good, the camera angles helping. I take it that this is the plot that leads up to Surrane Jones' departure at the end of the year?

I also noted the wide camera angle of Steve and Tracey in the street and thought how different it was and added something extra to their exchange.

Where I managed to catch a few minutes of Eastenders tonight and remembered why I have given up on it.
The bom bom ba bombombombom ending was some burning beef burgers accidentally being knocked over Arthur's bench and a close-up of Pauline's face!

BIG DEAL! Cmon BBC you have got to produce better endings than that!

Yes I thought the scenes between Tracey and Steve were very good tonight – I cant wait to see what happens between now and Karen’s exit.

I felt sorry for poor Sunita, sitting there in the rain waiting for her father who never turned up.
