Thats incorrect, the final announcement was for all three of them.
And the strange thing is why would they call Jason, In order to check in he would need to be present. It looks as though security is not taken seriously at Manchester airport.

another sarah / jason cockup is at the airport.
Sarah and Beth appeared to be waiting for Jason to come back before actually checking in, yet the final call announcement was just for Sarah and Bethany.
It should have been for Jason as well as at that point nobody had checked in so the airport would not know if they were catching the plane or not.
that is why they did a final call

About time they did something.

Mirror.co.uk - Refit for Corrie's Rovers
It's about time they did something although I'm not sure what it will be like if 'Vernon' is in charge..

According to today's Mirror Liz & Vernon will be giving The Rovers a "wine bar style" makeover soon, with Slate floor tiles, leather seats and pastel-coloured wallpaper.

Why does the Daily Mirror have to describe it as a "shock makeover". Most people redecorate their houses but aren't "shocked" by doing it.
It's not an horriffic plot twist, just a few sheets of wallpaper slapped on some wood in Stage One in Manchester.
Now, if I wallpapered, that would be "shocking" and worthy of a red-top headline!

A rather less hysterical article here from MediaGuardian.
It confirms the changes won't be that extensive, but will include the yard being made into an outdoor smoking area (wasn't there an episode a while back when everyone was smoking out there?), which begs the question, how are people supposed to get to it? Through the bar, around the corner, or will they make structural changes to allow a walkway through?
Also it's about time MediaGuardian got a new photo of the street. That one they always use has the old Rovers' signage and no stone-cladding on the Duckworths'.

Disappointing the changes won't be too extensive - after all it's supposed to reflect reality, and in reality some traditional pubs are getting very modern make overs, which often the locals don't like.
Anyway, confirmation now the Sunday episode is axed in favour of a double bill on Fridays - which probably means the Friday 7.30pm edition will now just be a filler episode too (like Mondays), and also probably means they'll be few editions set at the weekend.

Just been watching Hetty Wainthropp on BBC1. Alan Halsall (Tyrone) when he was about 13 years old, also John Graham Davies (Hollyoaks' Les Hunter) as a detective.
