Well I'm not sure I agree with that...
Pad was fairly critical of Coro in his letter and he got a decent reply from it-- at the very least the letter had been acknowledged. I would imagine it is in the best interests of the show, for them to read viewers correspondence thoroughly-- without viewers there's no programme!
My original point was that it is worthwhile to write to the show, as Pad comprehensively did ^-- since it's then read by the people who make the show-- direct action if you like. Apathy breeds apathy after all.
There's nothing wrong with airing grievances on here of course (a rasion d'etre of this thread), but do we know for sure if anyone from the Coro production team reads this thread?

Indeed they are Steve, although I recall they are accessed via the main platforms and a footbridge (it had been many years though) .
However, I ask the question as to why Sarah & Jason didn't get a taxi all the way to Manchester Airport in the first place?
StreetCars are often heard of doing "an airport run" in Eileen's scenes. If I was moving abroad (with most of my belongings in a suitcase), then I wouldn't want the hassle of lugging them all onto a local Northern line train from Manchester Piccadilly to Manchester Airport then dragging them to departures at the airport!

Yep. When I was staying in Manchester I took a train from Manchester to North Wales and I had to go to Platform 14. My train to South Wales goes from one of the main platforms though, usually somewhere between platform 4-9 as this train starts and terminates at Manchester
Corrie was 100% better last night IMO compaired to the very poor episode we had on Sunday. I liked Deirdre's talk with Liz resulting in Liz changing her mind, then all the guests at the wedding being told to go away on for the wedding to take place afterall. I also loved all the New Year celebrations in the Rovers, especially when Carla turned up and the ending with Maria and Liam in the Street was good.
Happy New Year and lets hope 2008 will be a great year for Corrie

another sarah / jason cockup is at the airport.
Sarah and Beth appeared to be waiting for Jason to come back before actually checking in, yet the final call announcement was just for Sarah and Bethany.
It should have been for Jason as well as at that point nobody had checked in so the airport would not know if they were catching the plane or not.
