The letter was spot on Pad. The response you posted earlier is why I'd never bother to write in - you can see the letter flying straight into the big round filing tray under the desk of the admin person who opened the letter and pressed "send" on the automated reply to "these type of letters"...

Absolutely. The letter is brilliant but I can't help feeling it's a waste of time because they really don't care. It's just a load of "we're sorry you feel this way" and "sometimes we do upset a minority". Please, give me a break. The sooner Steve Frost leaves that show the sooner it can start to improve. This year I've intentionally missed more episodes than I can remember, and I haven't done that in years. That's how bad it's become...

That's a pretty good letter - and I don't think you are sad! Much better than Simon Luxto n's letters about testcards or whatever he writes about.

Was there any need for that Jugalug?

As to pad's letter, very excellently put. I'd have been inclined to have questioned the motives behind killing off Fred Elliot however.

Goodness me what a boring ending for Sarah, I can't believe she was happy with sending her off like that - it was pathetic. Wasn't it supposed to be a heart-renching ending or something along those lines?

I like when they do location shooting, and even better when the places they are filming are actually the correct places and I recognise them

I do wonder how they manage to film in such busy locations without getting chavs waving in the background

I thought that to, probably filmed on a Sunday afternoon when it's quiet the announcement on the Tanny was the 13 something to Euston

funny how the train they appeared to be catching said stockport on the front though.

Bethany was having a bit of trouble with her coat at the end Laughing

yes it was a bit of a daft ending as to all intents and purposes Stephen had given the job to Jason, not Sarah, he's not likely to let her stay once her deceit is uncovered

What a disgraceful departure for a character that has contributed so much to the show these past few years. Just when you thought Corrie couldn't get any worse... Rolling Eyes

I thought Sarah's exit would be the Monday double tomorrow Confused

Awful show tonight - a very poor exit (that end scene made it even worse), while what was the Morton's Christmas dinner all about?

What they've done with Sarah's character over recent weeks has been far from believable - and they scrapped any potential of turning the mad David storyline into either something more serious regarding mental health, or something a bit more positive.

Also in the last week they've made Rosie far too one-dimensional as the John storyline came to a head. If they want the character to be the soaps next big bitch, they've got to show another side to her too.

I just hope they do better with Vera's exit in a couple of weeks.

Any more so and they'll be sliding her in under the door of No. 13...Tracy Barlow really has nothing to worry about!

If Vera gets a type of exit like Sarah's then it'll be thoroughly disappointing.

Clearly the Morton's were used as a filler scene again.. A bit of a messy episode tonight. Confused

Ditto, Ditto and Ditto. The whole thing looked feckless.

A poor episode tonight I agree and a less than exciting ending for Sarah considering she has been in it for so long (8 years since Tina took over so quite a long running character by today's standards).

Hopefully now Sarah has gone the Platts will be given a break (although I see from the tv mags that David is in it next week) but at least this Sarah V David thing will be over.

Nice to see "Manceinion Piccadilly" featured in tonights episode - been there many times as I always travel by train when I go to Manchester Smile Steve, I assume the train they were catching was the Transpennine Express to Manchester Airport Wink Pity we didnt hear the announcement for the Manchester to South Wales train which is the one I catch.

Also Steve I think it was Sarah that got the job rather than Jason? Didnt she tell Uncle Stephen that Jason wouldnt be any good Laughing
