Not a patch on last year's Christmas ep.

And what the f u c k was with that hideous break bumper? That looked like it was done in paint, it was horrible!

Is it just me or did the ending and the credits happened very nice a seamless tonight?

That is a shockingly constructed sentence, but I agree. Smile Shame the announcer warbled all over it though.

Ending was ok, but i prefered last years. Overal the episode was OK, not bad but not excellent. Still nice light relief after seeing what Fiz could have had Razz (re: knickers)

Sorry, was in a rush Wink Although I don't think we got an announcer it was just a trailer on top however the way it was done was very neat.

Yeah this years Christmas episode wasnt anywhere near as good as last years (or the year before come to that). However it did have its good points - Sally giving Rosie a much deserved slap, John getting his head kicked in (he's got to be stupid if he mixed their presents up), Becky's murder game in the cafe.

I was forced to suffer Emmerdale tonight as my mum is a fan and to my surprise it wasnt bad.

So you didn't suffer it then, surely? Wink

Very poor effort tonight I thought. I didn't expect them to top last years but it wasn't even close to being as good. Still, some funny moments (like Rosie walking in just as it was all kicking off) and the ending was a nice touch. But that was it really - the rest wasn't up to scratch.

I thought Corrie was ok, except Kirk choking on a coin.

Looks like everyone's been to Dev's for their shopping this Christmas. Wink

LOL! True. I was dreading sitting through an hour of Emmerdale as I thought id be bored but it wasnt any worse than Corrie last night. Since Steve Frost left it went downhill so I stopped watching in Mid 2006 after watching non stop since the plane crash in 1993. Emmerdale's loss of Steve was definately Corrie's gain Wink

I expected Corrie to be better. I prefer a lighter episode on Christmas Day and there wasnt enough comedy in the episode - Norris's story didnt work as it was so boring. But it did have some good points as I mentioned in my previous post so it wasnt that bad, but they need to do better next Christmas.

In contrast to you Jez, I'm glad he's leaving. This year has just been bloody terrible.
