According to Teletext, there was talk of Antony Cotton discussing a record deal with Louis Walsh.

Thank heavens that died a death!

Louis has no shame! Rolling Eyes

I noticed whilst looking through the Christmas Radio Times that the Corrie omnibus is on ITV1 not ITV2 on Saturday 29th December. I wonder if this is just a one off for the festive season or whether it will be back on ITV1 regularly?

IMO they should show the omnibus on ITV1 on Saturdays, they can still show it again on ITV2 on the Sunday.

I agree Jez, they have always shown the eastenders omnibus on BBC1 and not the cable chanels.

why should people who don't have cable miss out, it's like all the behind the scenes stuff they show on ITV2, really annoys me Mad

Get it on Freeview then.

Omnibus's and repeats are ideal fodder for the spin-off channels - but then again it's not as if ITV1 are really showing anything else.

They did screen the omnibus on ITV1 for a short period a few years back - think they had a Crossroads omnibus at the time too.

I imagine it will just be a one-off omnibous on ITV1 surely for those who have missed any of the festive episodes. If it aired on ITV2, I doubt as many people would realise it was on, unlike if it was on ITV1.

They repeated Sunday and Monday's episodes the next day at 1 o'clock and Wednesday and Friday's episodes would be shown together on a Sunday afternoon. Emmerdale was repeated Wed to Friday at 1 o'clock back before it was on 20 times a week.

Nothing wrong with showing it on ITV1 also. Afterall many people who cant watch it during the week would appreciate it at the weekend. I find the omnibus useful if I want to watch the episodes a second time Smile

More than a short period - IIRC they ran the omnibus for over a year on ITV1. Granada (and some other regions) also had an omnibus for years on a Sunday teatime I believe.

Well we thought that in 2003 when it was in the Christmas schedules but then the omnibus because a regular thing on ITV1 during 2004.

Coronation Street is in the ITV Daytime AB lists for February, not January, so um.. er.. cool bye. Smile

Not sure what that means.
