All I can say is watch Microsoap and you'll see that Lauren on Monday was a twentysomething version of Felicity.

But her performance on Monday was way over the top - like some failed panto actress. Someone ought to tell her this isn't Microsoap - it's grown up soap.

I did think she was a tad OTT but I still like her...sort of. I certainly don't think she's awful. She could potentially be quite good.

Haven't seen Corrie since. Maybe she'll grow on people - after all if they took to Antony Cotton...

Well I certainly don't think she's as bad as that... Laughing

Were Sean and Violet in school together, in which case why has Sean never mentioned Lauren. It's also likley that as ken taught Violet he also taught Laren as well.

It has been mentioned a couple of times that Sean and Violet have been friends, before they came on the Street. I seem to recall they've talked about stuff they did together in their youth. Not sure in what capacity they met-- perhaps worked/lived near each other-- don't think that's ever been specified? Unless I've missed that...

Now maybe an ardent Coro fan could clear this up for me, but I recall it was Violet who intoduced Sean to Eileen as a potential lodger?

So Jim McDonald is set free tonight. Anyone remember how long he was sent down for ? Would he realistically have been released by now ?

Anyway, any bets at how long into the episode it will be before he murmurs the first "so it is" or "catch yourself on" ?

Didn't he escape a few years ago? surely that would have meant his sentence was lengthened considerably. Or is it yet another thing they've conveniently brushed aside.

Yeah he did in 2003 - he did have time added to his sentence, I think Liz said he was due to be released a few years down the line but got an extra couple of years added.

Four "so it is" and one "so I am". No "get the crack" or "catch yourself on", so maybe he is a changed man Surprised
