Sounds a tedious and unrealistic storyline to me.

Sounds about right. And knowing Corrie, there is no way it'll be done well - especially not with Kym "mediocre actress at the best of times" Ryder at the helm.

I still find it astonishing that a superb character like Becky has not been given a proper storyline.

You're sounding like Elton John in a huff. Wink

What a waste of money - they'll probably never watch the TV again!

Oh great. If Corrie needs to copy dodgy Neighbours plots - it's doomed!

Well i think Corrie will pull it off far better then Neighbours did, with Neighbours it did seem a bit far fetched, but if Corrie do it it must be common Razz

Yeah but in Neighbours didnt someone deliberately swap the babies? I dont think that will be the case in Corrie.

I don't think I've ever heard of or read about anything like this ever happening in the UK - if someone can come up with a case then please post details!

I'm not saying everything has to be 100% realistic (it would be dull if it were!) - but this makes me Rolling Eyes in disbelief...

I've not heard of anything like this happening in Britain either. It does seem to be a rather far-fetched plot really. And it's not as if Michelle is going to give up the child she loves just because she discovers he's not really hers so it's definitely not an elaborate ploy to get rid of a dodgy young actor.

It's a shame Corrie have decided to introduce Violet's "never previously mentioned" Sister into the programme. It's so EastEnder-ish to do that.

I don't know of anyone who suddenly has sisters/brothers/cousins suddenly turning up on their doorstep.

It would be far more interesting if Eileen just looked for another lodger after Violet moved out - and alot more realistic.

Thanks ITV2 for ruining the end of tonight's Coronation Street by announcing what was on next, before the titles had even rolled!

5/5 for originality! You can't get away from the bloody promotions now!

Oh, and if you were wondering, it's Katy Brand's Big Ass Show.
