She deserves it. Jason doesn't know what he's let himself in for married to her
So are they officially married then? Im sure I read somewhere that maybe Jason didn't sign the book correctly?

Tonight's episode shows just why you don't need a fake film effect on drama. If it's well written, acted and made, it's dramatic on its own. Fake film effects look crap and add nothing to a show whatsoever. If anything, tonight's Corrie shows how much better a show works WITHOUT a nasty film look. Up yours, Diana Kyle.

What a random point.
I don't think you can say either way if Corrie would be better or worse shot on film. Besides, if it did switch to it, it would take a long time for people to get used to it even if it looked good as we are used to it.
Conversely, if Doctor Who or any other filmised show switched to soapy style filming, people would take a long time to adjust.

Pre-2005, Doctor Who was shot on VT - and possibly the die-hards were hoping it would continue to be.

Are you a die-hard then? Personally I think Who looks brilliant filmised and I wouldn't want it any other way. I don't mind the film look personally. When Holby City switched to it at first it was hard to get used to, I like it now.

I'm not actually a Who fan, but if I were I would have probably wanted it to continue on VT. As I believe Casualty/Holby City still should be.
If producers are giving shows filmic looks on the pretence they would otherwise "look dated", how many Holby viewers would have felt the same this time last year? Very few I doubt, and we all know what a riot there'd be if the soaps went filmic.
