Completely agree with all the pro-Becky comments, she's fast becoming my favourite character after once really not rating her at all. Her overnight personality transplant really worked well and she's an asset to the show, I think everyone knows a Becky-type character - indeed people know people like most of the Corrie characters which I think boosts the show's appeal. EE really doesn't do it for me at all, too far fetched, although I know most soaps have this element too them, it just seems quite extreme in Walford. I often find that the episodes where not really much happens can be among the best in Corrie, they tend to mirror real time really well when we all know that the high drama doesn't happen every day, well not to me anyway, perhaps I'm boring, ha ha.
Also, i'm surely not the only one that's noticed Reet of late, can anyone confirm what it is exactly that she's had done? Is it just her hair or is it her eyes too, I can't decide...Lorraine Kelly even passed comment on how well she's looking at the moment and I agree she's turning into one foxy old lady ha ha

Indeed. If I'm honest, I think they should have kept Shobna and got rid of Jimmi.
Completely agree, Shobna was a far better actor than him as well.
I also agree with the comments people have made re Becky - she is excellent at the moment.

Dev is a bit pointless now - why is he still in the show?

Charlie, Bill and Jason have had many scenes where they were leaning on the scaffolding. I didn't find it particularly unbelieveable.
I know, just a little wry joke
It was a just plot device either way
I think the new Becky is far better. I didn't mind the 'single white female' Becky of old, but the post-prison Becky is far better; a nice character with an edge, rather than a horrid character with an edge. David Platt does the latter far better!
I quite enjoyed some of the dialogue in Monday epis. Liam's winding up of Roy, and Sean's daft conversation with Violet about socks! Some of the Rovers dialogue with Michelle was amusingly droll too. Were they J Harvey episodes, I missed the closing credtis?

Hmm... yes quite convenient that Jason should lean against the scaffolding, just after David/Damien had loosened the bolts on it

I don't think so - his episodes are usually good.
I agree about Becky though - absolutely fantastic. One of the best recent additions to the cast. It's a shame that you have to put up with The Mortons or Sean before you can see another enjoyable scene with her and The Croppers.
I particularly loved her stint with Blanche in the café - that was a masterstroke on the writers' part.

I dobut we'll ever know for certain, but nothing around her eyes seems to move at the moment, so I'd suspect she's had botox. I guess the tell-tale sign will be if she can't frown at Norris anymore.
I remember some years ago, she wasn't on screen for ages and then returned with the skin on her neck noticeably tighter and smoother. She actually looked pretty good after that, as she had been developing a bit of a turkey gobbler.

You're comparing apples with oranges.
The actress who played Ivy did more than just have her lips done - some might say she was bringing the show into disrepute.
As she subsequently passed away it would be in poor taste to bring it all up again, i think.

We have also seen publicity shots of the happy couple outside the church, so one can only assume they get through the ceremony this time without either making an unscheduled premature exit through a toilet window.
It must have been an odd experience for Tina and Ryan to film these scenes. I wonder if it's put them off getting married for real?
