Well, Mike bought me, my mum and sister a drink each in a pub once...and we have the video to prove it....

Betty was serving us too...

Unfortunately we were just in a CSO set at the Granada Studios Tour and they were added later - but the video still looks good Smile

Tonight's episode was a bit dull again, I'm remembering that I was never that fond of Leanne too.

That bloke with the huge jam jar glasses was such a bizarre character, looked like one of the Bo Selecta characters.

Anyway, if evidence were needed that Corrie is well into silly season at the moment just have a look at the picture below Shocked

I'm back on the Salon staffing arrangements again!
Did Audrey have a problem with paying wages for both Sarah AND Candice hence she had to let Sarah go? Now we have Maria back working in the Salon. Candice must still be employed there too as Audrey has only just sent her on a course. Perhaps Audrey had an Income Tax Rebate!

Man alive, creepy Karl really makes me shudder. He still comes across as insidious. Think it a combination of both script and actor.

I saw Kay-ee Harris driving westbound on the M62 near Huddersfield a few weekends ago in a red Peugeot 206. Her hair looked just as bad in real life!

I once also had afternoon tea with Beverley Callard! Cool

My Mum has seen Jack Duckworth doing his singing in the pub ages ago, and I've seen Katie Harris in mancheater before too. Oh and I've also seen Sam the stripper too.....oh and another family Member has seen Dev and his BIG gob in his local pub too. He shouted to him, "at least we can press the mute button at home when your on" Laughing

karl does not bother me that much, but Todd!! Acting like a little "weedie puff" when Karls around.

Also whats with the facial hair todd?? Every times he's on he's full of Facial stubble/Bum Fluff. Is he trying to attract 'Gay hairy bears' now hes come out? Come on Lad, Buy a lady pink Venus from Devs shop! and get rid!

The bits with Jack (and Vera/Sunita/Tyrone) were funny indeed! His pronunciation and his fake "falsetto" voice ("Noo, I'm fynnne") I found very amusing.

Also the bits with Jack trying to explain to Vera why he had perfume all over him - and a mention of an old character by Vera - "You smell like Elsie Tanner on VE Day!" Laughing

Such a great line - it really made me laugh!

Talking of Elsie Tanner, yet another character's coming in being hailed as 'The New Elsie Tanner'...

The Daily Mirror posted:
Bold, brassy, sassy Kelly will be biggest bitch ever on Corrie By Brian Roberts

SHE'S bold, brassy and sassy...and mini-skirted Kelly Crabtree promises to be the biggest man-eater Coronation Street has ever seen.

The leggy factory girl - played by 25-year-old Tupele Dorgu - makes her tarty TV debut a week on Monday. And it's not long before she lures married boss Danny Baldwin (Bradley Walsh) into the sack.

Tupele said yesterday: "Kelly uses her sexuality to get whatever she wants. She doesn't take any prisoners and is incredibly selfish.

"She'll be causing lots of trouble and making quite a few enemies along the way. She loves her short skirts and sexy boots almost as much as she loves bedding men."

Street bosses see Kelly as an ideal replacement for mouthy Karen McDonald, played by Suranne Jones, who will soon be leaving.

An insider said: "Kelly turns heads as soon as she arrives - and doesn't waste any time getting her claws into the local menfolk."

Tupele added: "It's a fantastic opportunity for me. Kelly's a real bitch but she's also quite funny in the great tradition of Street characters such as Vera, Ivy and Janice."

Amusingly in the Mirror's article, they'd used a photo of Elsie... except it was actually Sue Johnston from that drama in which she played Pat Phoenix! Whoops! Laughing
