It's already been confirmed by Corrie that Jim is returning for around six weeks at the end of the year. Apparently he has something to say about Liz and Vernon's wedding which takes place on New Years Eve - in typical soap fashion, "not everything goes to plan".

I thought they had got divorced, after Jim managed to get his prison sentence extended-- or is my mind playing tricks on me?

Yes I know, I should "catch myself on" Wink

No, you're right - they divorced after, like you say, his prison sentence was extended. That was when they started pairing her off with different men before Vernon came along.

Finally Corrie has it's own credits - we just may never get to see them in full.

there was even a mention of Les Shocked

cilla is obviously going to leave with 40 grand in her pink handbag, Chesney isn't as Sam Aston has renewed his contract

Shame really, those images look nice, what little we see.

Would've been nice if the images were still film, with swaying trees etc, rather than just still images. Maybe even a very slow slight pan/zoom effect on them.

That said, a huge improvement on the fugly bars.

Do the credits go out in full on ITV.com - or is that a wasted promotional opportunity?

They actually were moving images, just not very much. In the first shot of the chimneys, you can see the leaves rustle.

The new end credits are much better than the previous set which were awful.
