Well, that's nice. Sad

It's just that I didn't want to put too much info in just one or two episodes.

Credit where its due, there is a strong narrative to the event in your piece.

It would benefit from having another story happening (to cut to) and compress the fire into one episode. Corrie has used things like a sing-song or party at the Rovers as a counterpoint to the heavier or more shocking story happening at the same time. Doing this also allows you to 'cheat' the passage of time much more easily. That would be essential. The blaze itself would probably be on screen for 15 minutes MAX. Think how dull it woud be to see the same house burn night after night. On the other hand, the aftermath could run for days.

I haven't bothered to write it in, but different scenes featuring key characters involved in current storylines (i.e. Tracy/Ciaran) would be interspersed with the fire, if you read the episodes, the first description is for Sunday's, and of course - the last three, Monday's. Overkill, I know, but hey - this is ITV. OH - and the residents would be in some sort of party, I imagine.

I actually enjoyed tonight's episode, there was a good mix of suspense and humour with Tracey and the money, the only thing that annoyed me was Dev and Sunita, didn't like it at the end when the Indian music blended in to the Corrie music, it didn't sound right!

Liked the bit with Leanne's interview and that guy's glasses.

I wasnt keen on tonights episode - it was boring. And it will be the last episode I will see for a while - what a GREAT cliffhanger to leave it on - NOT!

Granada Plus episodes are much better though, I am enjoying the storylines with Tracy/Deirdre and the Jenny/Rita storyline (although Jenny has left now which is a shame)

I couldn't help feeling the whole thing with Tracey-luv, the baby and the money was very contrived. Why on earth would Tracy put the money in the push-chair? The excuse that she did it as a joke seemed a bit lame to me, and the whole thing a bit random.

Also, how ugly is that baby? It looks like it's wearing a toupee! Shocked

Whilst I was at the pub this afternoon, I only had Steven Arnold, alias Ashley sitting opposite me at the pub, we didn't speak to him as we felt odd about it, but some guy went to him and asked for an autograph, even by calling him Ashley, it was quite funny, we were hoping he was with someone else from Corrie but he was with a couple of his friends.

Oh yeah, he also smokes and has a pet dog.

I know it isn't that much related to Corrie, but I feel that you should know. Anyone else seen any Corrie stars in real life, I've also seen Les Battersby too.

The Tracy love thing was so rubbish last night. The storyline they have with her on Granada Plus episodes is much better.

Ive seen a few Corrie cast members when I went on the Granada Studio Tour, including Ken, Alec, Judy Mallet, Samantha (barmaid in the Rovers, now a nurse in Holby City) and a few others, although there were so many people around we couldn’t really speak to them properly.

Ive written letters to 5 members of the cast – Kate Ford, Helen Worth, Sally Whittaker, Sue Nicholls and Barbara Knox – I got handwritten reply and a signed card from Sue Nicholls, the others sent a signed card, except for Barbara Knox who I got nothing off and ive written to her TWICE, once last year and once after she won an award in May.

I've seen - and met - Liz Dawn (Vera) in Leeds near a group of flats at the Granada studios, she's very chatty and polite, not to mention funny! I've also seen Jack P Shepherd in the White Rose Shopping Mall near Lancashire, in his full glory with braces and all - I didn't speak to him, and I saw him speak to a family member (his Mum or Auntie) saying in that classic David voice... "Aww, we're gonna need a trolley!" Laughing

I saw Kay-ee Harris driving westbound on the M62 near Huddersfield a few weekends ago in a red Peugeot 206. Her hair looked just as bad in real life!

I once also had afternoon tea with Beverley Callard! Cool
