Did you read my post? I said apart from Christmas and " when they put two episodes together to make up for missing an episode" which that one was. It wasn't an hour 'special'.
No not a proper hour long special despite the announcer telling us it was.
The wedding episodes sounds great - how they are as good as they sound when we see them on screen.

They did an hour long episode a couple of weeks ago, because football was shown on a Friday night

A good point about Inside Soap . Unfortunately such magazines are London-based; so I suppose it's far less effort/cheap to get EE stars in for photoshoots, than it is to get actors down from the "frozen north"!

I used to get Inside Soap many years ago but gave up about 3 years ago due to the constant EastEnders bias. I much prefer the 2 fortnightly soap magazines now. Ive no intention of going back to buying inside soap ever again, im quite happy with the other soap mags.

I dont think its that reason. Surely they have the facilities to take photos for magazine covers up North! The reason EE get more covers is because it according to them they sell more copies when thats on the cover. However this year the TV magazines like Whats on TV have been far better with sharing the covers out between Corrie and EE, and the TV Times often has a Corrie cover and hardly ever EE and thats London based. Cant speak for Inside Soap as I no longer get it.

True I suppose. Considering that EE has been generally trounced by Coro over the past few years, you would think that Coro would be of more intrest.
I think having a mixture of soaps on the front cover is the best, with the week's/month's most prominent storyline taking the main picture, regardless of soap.

Yes but unfortunately I cant see them putting Hollyoaks or Home and Away as the main cover storyline as these get far fewer viewers than the big 2 (Corrie and EE) so it would mean a drop in sales of the magazine.

Yeah true enough. When I said prominent storyline, I would expect one from EE, Coro or E'dale-- since the difference of viewing figures between those three and the other soaps is significant I believe.

The return of "Frescos", I wonder if Reg Holdsworth will appear and is it the same Supermarket being used.?.
RM
Yeah, that was interesting. I thought Frescos became Firman's Freezers-- or was it the other way round? The store they used in Reg Holdsworth's day was in Eccles if I recall, not sure who it belonged to in real life (possibly Asda?).
