and an appearance from Wiki*.

That's how Wikipedia spells it anyway, she's not on the ITV.com castlist, so couldn't I check it.

Which is ironic. What's her surname "Pedia"?

2 things. One, why was Jim Macdonald playing the Policeman. I kept expecting him to say "Catch yourself on David"

Secondly. I would have thought Jerry would be an expert on drugs, what with all that time he spent with Jimmy Corkhill Laughing

David obviously doesn't have much stuff as the bag sounded incredibly light when Gail dropped it at the bottom of the stairs. Nice to see another side to David though and an appearance from Wiki*. I'm glad that's the end of Trudi, Posh Cleaner and the Egg-Couple, although if Harvey's is the new sponsor I'm sure their stings will be just as annoying, judging by their ads.

This DS article spells it "Vicki". Anyone fancy watching the credits on one of the repeats to confirm the correct spelling. Rolling Eyes

Had tonight's episode recorded and I can confirm that it is spelt Wiki Dankowska!

No sponsorship again tonight.

I believe the time has elapsed for Cadbury withdrawing their sponsorship with Corrie explaining why they're not on anymore.

Shame we couldn't have seen some Wispa adverts. Cool

Hasn't been the same since they axed the Chocolate animated ones! I wonder if the display at Cadbury's World in Birmingham will be axed?

Yes but I was just as annoyed as you when I saw it. Also barely 2 seconds into the end credits they are advertising it as well.

No sponsorship again tonight.

Excellent episode though - loved the scenes with the Platts throughout the episode especially Gail confronting Darryl.

AFAIK ITV are having a few technical problems with the software which produces the onscreen captions.

The most common problem is the 'Subtitles' caption which appears a lot of the time at the beginning of Part Two.

The Now/Next promos should be shown around 3-4 minutes before the end of a programme and the software is somehow reading this as 3-4 minutes INTO a programme (Part Two).

This is trying to be rectified and ITV are speaking to the software manufacturers.

The guy/girl sitting doing Playout isn't pressing any buttons to get these graphics on, they are a general software fault, and has been worse since the OS was updated on the servers.

in that case we can let them off

personally I'd rather they didn't appear at all because it's just bloody rude, like cutting into somebody's conversation because

Laughing That's how people speak in Norn Iron, so it is. Get the crack young Aaaandreuuuuw?

Good acting from the Platt characters last night I felt, nice to see David actually genuinely sorry for once.

I dont see the need to show them at all because the next programme is promoted within second of the end credits starting anyway.

Seems ITV are still having problems with their now & next promos. I was half expecting a Corrie this evening (resheduled because of rugby perhaps).

After the Evening news the N&N graphic said:
Arrow Next - 6:45 Emmerdale
Arrow Later - 7:15 Coronation Street

It was already 6:55 and the voiceover had the correct information. But rather pointless putting Friday's graphic with Thursday's v/o. It makes them appear as professional as an 80s cable station.
