Well Done Corrie!

Obviously Antony Cotton will be dismissing this win, due to the fact he feels internet users opinions are invalid, and the votes for the TV Quick awards were all done online.

Congrats to Coro.

Stephen Arnold wouldn't be so bad, if Ashley weren't so hot-tempered as a character. Sounds like Orville the Duck.

I'm thoroughly confused now. When Casey initially starting meeting up with Claire in the Red Rec, I could have sworn Casey had a kid with her-- the same age as Joshua. In fact I'm sure Josh and this kid played in the park together, while Casey and Clurr talked.

So what has happened to Casey's kid?

*chuckle*

I know the actor isn't overly popular on this board but I have to say I really like him. I think if you are watching him with an overly critical eye then you might feel his scenes are unsatisfactory but I don't so last night was a good watch. I'm quite absorbed with the story.

Wasn't overly keen on the scene going into the commercial where Ashley and Casey had to struggle on the balcony for what seemed like an age while the Corrie break-sting played. I think it would have worked better if they had cut away to an establishing shot of the block of flats.

Clurr was very frustrating last night at the point where Audrey was telling her what was going on. I would have slapped her face if she had dismissed my news the way she did to Audrey. Silly moo.

One more thing - is it me or has Ashley aged terribly over the last 5 years? He used to have the freshest face in soap and now he's a bit of a wrinkled prune.

I still would, though.

Seriously? Shocked I find he looks a little like a hamster, not attractive really!

I found last night's episodes lacked dramatic tension and the Mortons featured far too heavily.

Well done Sue!

I'll keep my views on the Best Soap result to myself. Wink

Haha, quite contradictory really isn't it.

I couldn't believe it, did I see bloody Daniel O'Donnell as a guest on his show the other day...?!

Yes, its that good, it really is. Poor Daniel has been a bit lost TV wise since Gloria closed her Open House on Channel Five some time ago. I guess it shows the age of the audience for Cotton, in fact I hear Granada have fitted a Stanna Stair Lift to the seating area of the studio to help them up.

She didnt have a kid with her - she had a dog with her (called Millie I think?)

I dont find Claire frustrating at all - Ashley is the one I find frustrating. Dont forget Claire has been the victim in all this so she is entitled to be a bit upset.

As for Ashley - Oh I wouldnt, and never would have lol.

I was thinking that. I'm sure it was a black labrador; not the best place to keep one is a block of flats, and that is if they were to allow them.
