The spoiler i posted a few weeks back must be right then, he goes to shoot Gail, but just ends up hitting the shopping bag. David will end up being housed by Audrey

Aaaw right, thanks for that clarification Cool

Meanwhile Daivd turns more sinister:

After flooding the house by unplugging the freezer, he then decides to shoot Gail with Daryl's air-rifle.

Gail demands that David pays rent; he refuses and decides to live on the streets instead!

Well all I can say is if there's enough ice in Gail's freezer to cause a flood, it serves her right for not defrosting it more often.

Oh, and isn't the freezer in the garage? Wouldn't all the water just flow out under the garage door?

Ditto, it doesn't make sense to me either but still.

He's terrible, never mind bad.
His face screws up, he talks even worse.

I agree, he is dreadful. The actress who plays Casey was far better than him in those scenes.

Last week on one episode (Hayley's aunt's funeral) Roy was referred to on the subtitles as "Rory". Also, on a videotape I have somewhere, Craig Harris (in a 2003 episode) is referred to as "Paul" on the subtitles... odd, considering you could actually hear his father shout "Craig" loud and clear. Hmm.

He's dreadful anyway, but when playing angry he enters new realms of awfulness. That whole gritted teeth business...

Far too much screentime for such a mediocre actor.

Corrie got 4 awards at last nights TV Quick/Choice Awards Smile including Best Soap, Best Storyline (Tracy/Charlie), Best Actress (Sue Cleaver) and Best Newcomer (Kym Ryder).

Well Done Corrie!

I actually enjoyed last night's episodes which kept me hooked throughout. I thought it was all very well written, which managed to hold everything together despite Ashley's embarrassingly bad acting.

Also, was I the only one who kept being put in mind of the storyline in which Neil Fern's mother was threatening to jump with baby Bethany off the church tower?

Obviously Antony Cotton will be dismissing this win, due to the fact he feels internet users opinions are invalid, and the votes for the TV Quick awards were all done online.
