It's very environmentally friendly of them to attempt to reduce their carbon footprint by using the same material again.

Even if that storyline isnt going ahead this will still be the second wedding of Sarah and Jason's that hasnt gone ahead in about 15 months.



I was thinking that as well - surely the reason David should have given for not wanting to sleep in the garage should have been that one. Infact if I was Gail I wouldnt want to live in that house after all that happened there.

My thoughts were how they managed to stay in the house at all after the attempted murder. But since they did it's a bit late to come out with that excuse. Presumably Gail would've noticed during the past few years if none of her children ever dared step foot in the garage.

Secondly, if I was Jason or Sarah I'd want the additional space provided by the converted garage. Surely it would become the largest room within the Platt family's flexible interior, and they would end up with alot more privacy (and possibly an en-suite bathroom, balcony overlooking Weatherfield Quays and their own heli-pad before long owing to the transdimentional nature of the entire street).

the platts garage is very strange because looking at house layout the door from the kitchen faces the front of the garage yet when they did the scenes in there with richard taking Gail to the car with the children inside they enter the garage through the door and the car is facing the camera?

I'm surprised the Platts garage hasn't changed into a room then a loading bay without anybody noticing, like Rita's did

ISTR a big discussion on here at the time of the Hillman storyline about the Platt's garage. I also remember when Rita's garage door was replaced by a window, only for it to revert to a garage door again several months later.
