Well we all know you think Corrie is going from strength to strength right now and that Steve Frost can do no wrong, so it's surprising to hear you say you think it's a cop out for them to recycle the doomed wedding idea for her exit.

Because I think it is. Even though its slightly different to last time the end result is the same. It will be boring. Even though I love Corrie if I think a storyline is crap I will say so. I dont need to "admit" anything as you put it. Ive always given an honest opinion.
I thought we had sorted out our disagreement about this several weeks ago so thats why i was confused as to why you made that comment now.
It's going downhill, that's what. First the circular plot that is Claire/Ashley/Casey and now this terrible exit for a character that has been at the centre of some of the biggest storylines in recent years. Not to mention the dragging out of the Steve/Shania plot which should have really been restricted to two or three episodes at the most. It's a comedy storyline - but now they're using it as an excuse for Michelle and Steve to fall out (again). The cast is too large, the writing is unimaginative, the storylines are uninspiring. It's all very - meh.
Well, IMO, it's been pretty obvious for a while that Sarah's exit would be connected to the wedding, with Tina O'Brian leaving in the autumn and the wedding in the autumn. It's a shame they couldn't think of anything more original though.
Back to the present though, Ashley's 'shouting' makes it impossible to take him seriously - he really should be kept for the comic/light storylines and then perhaps at least one young family can live happily on the street for a change, rather than ending up like the Harrises.
