I was hoping that the Peacock house fire would provide them with the chance to horribly scar Claire and bring her back as another actress with some talent.
It was not to be. I hope this latest storyline sees them all jumping out of that tower block flat!
I'm glad it's not just me finding the Peacock's storyline boring.
More than that though, I think Claire and Ashley themselves are very tedious characters. I really don't see what they add to the show - they're both just so wet and dull.
At least when Fred was around, Ashley provided the 'straight man' part in the double act, but now they just seem pointless.
Would anyone have really missed them if they'd all gone up in smoke when the house burnt down?
I'm finding the Morons rather boring as well, I'm also trying to figure out how they sleep in a 3 bed terrace, the platts at a push could be four bedroom and has anybody noticed that the peacocks don't appear to have a bathroom?
do set designers not understand the basic physics of a cube?
I like Claire but im not that keen on Ashley. I think the actress who plays Claire is very good.
Wouldn't have said that back in 1993 - anyone who remembers that awful girl she played in Three Seven Eleven wouldn't have given her five minutes. (That's right, Julia is about the only member of Corrie's twentysomething contingent who WASN'T in Children's Ward...)
I'm finding the storyline with steve and the transvestite photo really annoying, he could do without so called friends like lloyd and jamie using it as an excuse to wreck his relationship with michelle
why the hell didn't eileen destroy the photos when she picked them up, it's just a pathetic storyline
I agree - Eileen would've destroyed them after the first close call with the pics the other day - how many episodes has this taken to come out? Drawn (yawn) out or what? Now there'll be a tedious week's worth of them falling out and then getting back together again...
The Mortons are a bore - I don't think Sinbad and Eileen will go together at all well.
I couldn't do transdimentional physics, it clashed with my placement on the integrated study of alcoholic refreshments.
back to corry, what is up with Rosie's tops, she seems to have forgotten the social dictum which states that you fasten the buttons in public so that your bra and half your cleavage isn't showing
how come Michelle's flat has a lounge facing Dev's shop and a kitchen directly opposite which faces the viaduct?
