They have - Cilla sold the dog to Yana last time, and pretended that it had gone missing/been dog-napped (one or the other). Lack of originality - especially since the same dog is involved. Rolling Eyes

Running out of ideas with 5 episodes a week to fill?

Is that supposed to be an excuse?

I wish my house could expand internally at the same exponential rate as the Peacock residence. They must've transformed from a Band C to a Band G residence in terms of Council Tax in a matter of weeks Rolling Eyes

I supppose it brings it in line with the 6 extra bedrooms that have appeared within the ethereal environs of the Platt and Morton upper floors of late.

The layout doesn't make sense anyway, from my knowledge.
If the conservatory is where it is, shouldn't it be half way in Maria's flat?

Yes, and the kitchen of the Rovers is inside the (former) Wong's Chippie and the smoking area in the yard is half way down Rosamand Street Shocked

They can be forgiven something for dramatic licence, but they are taking the piss now!

Maria hasn't been seen for a week. She's under the Morton's patio.
Rolling Eyes Wrong soap! Shocked

there is a gap between the peacocks and the entrance to marias flat, but the stairs are now behind the front door which outside is on a single storey part of the building?

when they designed the outside of number four didn't anybody think about being able to logically fit an interior in it?

all soap sets are renown for never quite fitting into their exterior counterparts, the queen vic is the same, the side door on albert square is about a foot away from the end of the building on the outside yet inside there is room for another set of seats

On a similar theme - isn't Dev's shop back to front since the Mad Mya explosion?

The camera angle is the same, but the old door to the street used to be where Dev sits now and the new door to the street is where the stockroom used to be.

It's something I've mentioned before, that increasingly so at the moment, for the convenience of the plot, they're expecting viewers to turn a blind eye to the most illogical things happening.

Like last night - who in their right mind would leave a relatively private lounge, and get naked with someone in a conservatory with the blinds open? Let alone when the liaison is adulterous? But it obviously allowed Claire to return and not find them at it, so was convenient to the storyline, so again the viewers are treated as stupid.

I'll actually defend them in this case. The camera angle has actually been reversed, with the counter moved to the back of the shop instead of next to the door. Also the outer door has moved to the end nearest the end of the street.

I find it hillarious that the staircase in Ashley's house shifted to the opposite end of the room (even before the fire) and how the factory became 20 times bigger with little signs of building work.

I find it funny how Dev's shop acquired an extention into the rear yard which isn't there when viewed from the Webster's yard Confused

Cilla was on top form tonight, having the row with "Donna"

So that's the last we've seen of Mr Wong then? Not that we've ever seen him anyway! Laughing

He's been on a few times, but not recently. I remember he was an oldish bloke and that his grasp of English was somewhat lacking-- much to the annoyance of Yana and Cilla.

Although he had a bit of a temper on him if I recall, aggressively threatening Cilla and Yana with various chip-shop implements.

Regarding Tardis-like dimensions of Coro's housing, chez Barlow was the best:
Ken, Deirdre, Blanche, Peter, Adam, Tracey and Amy all in one narrow terrace-house!

No. Ive always said ever since they added the 5th episode in 2002, they dont need 5 a week.

They have often changed the location of the counter in the Corner Shop - until 1985 it was at the back of the shop, then when Alf's new mini market opened it was at the front by the door. Then at the back again, then at the front, and now the back again. The Corner Shop living area used to be in the back room until 1985, but then they increased the size of the shop area so only room for a small stock room at the back. The stairs to the shop flat were just behind the door to the back room until 1985 so you could do through the shop to reach the flat - now you have to use the side door to get to the shop flat.
