Steve Frost on This Morning:

- Jack and Vera will definetly not be splitting up once Vera leaves. They'll still be together but only Vera will leave as Jack wants to stay on the Street.

- Steve and Eileen will sleep together next Monday

- The Rovers will be getting a facelift in the not too distant future.

- Claire and Ashley will stay together after Ashley sleeps with Casey.

- Norris realises he wants a woman in his life and proposes to a woman who is very close to him but Frost didn't say who (presumably Rita probably).

- There was also talk of a return for Danny Baldwin but Frost said nothing was planned yet for his return but they are hopefully going to make plans for him to return to the Street in the future.

From next week's What's On TV , they sleep together literally rather than in 'that' sense-- probably just as well!! They have to share a room, due a shortage of rooms at hotel they're staying at. I believe they get drunk and crash on the bed together, waking up to each other. Thence they joke about "their night of passion together"

Did Steve Frost say anything general about the programme, or did he just discuss future plots?

As long as they don't have another fire there, and use that as an excuse for the refurbishment! Eitherway, it's about bloody
time they made plans to give that place a new look ... it's been 21 years since the last time it was completely revamped.

From what he said, I was under the impression that both Jack and Vera would move away from the street, but Jack would still appear frequently in the show as he will visit The Rovers regularly and come and see his pigeons. It would just be Vera who wouldn't appear as much, only appearing occasionally.

The Eileen/Steve one is them sleeping in a bed together - not sure why Steve didn't want to reveal anything because it's in all the magazines anyway.

And the Danny Baldwin was an odd one - he didn't seem to know himself and he's the producer!

Nothing about the programme's dire state in general no.

It is Rita, yes. It was in the paper a couple of weeks ago. Could be amusing to see Reet's reaction to this proposal!

I take it didn't mention whether he was going to quit or not then? Wink

He shows no sign of leaving.

The Sun reports Jim McDonald is returning for a '6 week' stint in November.

You missed putting 'So he is' at the end of the sentence, for a laugh!
