Erm, im entitled to say what I want about Corrie, just as you are. What is your problem? Just because you and several other people dont like the current state of Corrie doesnt mean other people arent enjoying it. At least im willing to accept other people's opinions that they dont like it without resorting to insulting other members. And im not bigging up the soap at all - im only posting my thoughts on it, as I said before its not my fault I like what im watching.

You say Corrie is clearly not on form at the moment - that is opinion not fact. If I thought Corrie was crap I would say it was.

EDIT - There you go - ive just been looking at some of the posts from summer 2005 and i was slagging the show off too.

That's sad but inevitable, her failing health has been clear in recent episodes. I hope she get's a good send off storyline.

Wonder what will happen to Bill Tarmey though, hard to see how his character would continue on his own without Vera being killed off, they'd never separate.

Thats such a shame, it's probably for the best. Last thing Liz needs is the hectic Corrie schedules. Sad

maybe they are giving her a month off so she can film the Duckworth's golden wedding anniversary in August, be nice if she's fit enought to do that

Im not surprised by this news at all - its been clear for a while she isnt in the best of health so it was always when rather than if she would leave. I hope they do actually remember it is the Duckworths golden anniversary in August and do something to celebrate. Maybe then it would be a good time for Bill Tarmey to leave as well since I think he also had health problems.

Im actually reading Liz Dawn's autobiography at the moment. She's a lovely person, doing lots of things for charity, and she had a hard life before she was famous. I think she is very brave to carry on the last 2 years as ill as she has been.

Sky News says Bill Tarmey will stay on.

Well I knew it was inevitable. Bill and Liz should leave together - in my opinion its only right unless they decide to kill off Vera.
