I see Steven Arnold is in the paper today for going AWOL - allegedly he failed to turn up for filming on Friday and no-one could get hold of him.

Meanwhile its been weeks since Rita was seen on screen and ive noticed that Doreen seems to be getting her scenes/lines. Especially at Blanche's "wake" and last week when her and Emily went to visit the Duckworths. Doreen doesnt even know the Duckworths that well (or Emily for that matter) so she was clearly a replacement for Reet. Hope Barbara is ok.

Aint that just typical that Reet turned up tonight when I was only saying she hadnt been there for weeks. Doreen still had more scenes than her though.

2 excellent helpings of Corrie tonight IMO. Its good to have Liz back, I cant help feel a bit sorry for her (and Vernon, and I never thought is say that!)

Sally face was a picture when she realised Rosie was having an interview for Carla's PA.

The opening of Leanne's restaurant was a bit boring though. I did like Cilla's comment though about how Leanne way paying the staff.

RJC was great on This Morning , very nervous bless. He came acorss as a really modest and nice bloke, not cocky like Liam. He has always resisted TV interviews, put he was co-erced by the press dept at Granada. That said his wry humour is the same. Flirting a bit with Fern too, shocking....

Sadly for you lot, he confirmed he had a long-term girlfriend-- don't shoot the messenger !

I no longer buy Inside Soap (havent for over 3 years now) because I hated the new weekly format. I get All About Soap which IMO is better.

I never seem to fancy anyone from EE based on the pictures on Whats on TV or seeing them at awards shows. Apart from Nigel Harman, he was nice *drool* Still wouldnt ever get me watching EE though. I watched that drama he was in though lol

EDIT - Just seen they have a nice picture of Paul Clayton, plus an interview, in this fortnights All About Soap.
