The site could be better, but it is still a very nice site. I refuse to switch to IE7 for just ITV.com however.

How about they set fire to him?

If only they would! He's really starting to grate on me now, I'm really bored with all the Demon David stuff.

The school drive looked like the entrance to some big posh private school rather than the local comp!

On another note - the Radio Times have a good feature on the revamp of the Queen Vic on EE. The Rovers' set looks like it's falling to bits, surely it's due a lick of paint? The 21 year old wallpaper's even come back into fashion now! I don't know a pub that's not doing something in the run-up to the smoking ban. There's a perfect opportunity to put the faults with the set right (in terms or in-door/out door match up) and knock a door through to the yard where they could erect a smoking shelter at the same time!

From the What's On TV next week:

Tyrone finds a disposable camera in the Peacock's car-- it is the one Josh used to take a photograph of Clurrr and Casey. Thankfully there's a nice of of "Cairseh", so Clurr takes the picture to the police.

The police do an appeal, and Casey turns up at the cop shop. She denies she had anything to do with the fire, so the scuffers release her without charge! Clurr therefore drags Ashley around to Casey's house, to make Casey explain herself to the Peacocks.

Ashley though is very worried about Clurr's mental state, and her apparent increasing paranoia

IIRC it was the same school used when filming as queer as folk many moons ago.

Well David tells "mentor" Jason that the reason for his off-beam behaviour is
he is gay. I can't David being gay somehow, so what's the point of his mindgames with Jason this time?

I agree. I cant believe the wallpaper is still there! Its 21 years this month since the Rovers Fire. They changed the paper quite often in the 70s as I remember at least 3 different ones.

Talking of the smoking ban and going off topic, it came into effect in Wales a few months ago and as a non smoker I think its the best thing that's happened in ages. No smoke in hair or clothes after a night out.

Sorry if its been mentioned before but have they changed the lay out of Claire and Ashley's house? I seem to remember the stairs being on the left of the living room and today they were on the right of the living room?

Not long to wait here - really looking forward to it!

Why does the Morton's roof need re-tiling? Didn't Charlie replace it last year (which is why he ended up buying the house)? Yet more bad continuity... sloppy.

Maybe Charlie bodged it.

it's the roof of the takeaway that has loose slates not the roof of the Morton's house,

yes they have changed the Peacocks staircase but in true corry fashion they didn't do it because the original stairs burnt down in the fire they did it a month before the fire because it made the fire scenes look better on camera, like you do Rolling Eyes

right I'm off to B&Q to price up rearaining my staircase so that should I have a fire it will look better when people break the door down to rescue me
