Laughing He should have ran off with The Rutles Wink I think the Status Quo thing would have too much like Candice's exit possibly.

To write out Les Battersby without a screen exit is ludicrous.

Are we supposed to believe that he wouldn't return to say goodbye to Leanne, Kirky, Ches, Cilla and to some extent Janice.

The only way they can do it is to make it final. It'll have to be a death off screen otherwise it will be totally implausible.

so he just isn't coming back, that's silly. I think they are bias to give Dev a second chance yet Les gets no chances, Dev has no storys yet Les has been in loads.

Remember that Bruce Jones was suspended twice. First for his alleged drunken anctics, slagging off co-stars at that pub after reportedly drinking 12 pints of Guiness. He was reportedly suspended for further four weeks, after alleged racist abuse.

For all we know, Bruce Jones may have been abusive or difficult at work, you don't really know what goes on behind close studio doors Confused Either way, I can't say I will miss Les.

Anyway good episodes tonight, great acting from Alison King (Carla). I liked the usage of Road To Hell , a bit of clever sardonic humour there Laughing

Good episode tonight, but however I expected better. Carla was played excellently tonight. I take it Paul die's on Wednesday? or does it drag to Friday?

I liked Steve's comment 'Cruella Divorce' Laughing

I thought it was funny when Janice went "there's been a crash" as an ambulance went past, despite the fact they were both only a few metres away from it anyway, Laughing

That amused me too, initially it looked like they had loads of cars in front of them til they get out the car and they're right next to the scene of the accident - seemed odd they hadn't noticed it already!

And she went "what's that?" as an Ambulance went past. Some for Harry Hill there

It's a pitty Les isn't in it at the moment, as I'm sure he would have been interested in finding out what Leanne had been up to, and of course now there would be the usual Janice and Les getting slightly close at the bedside causing Cilla to get annoyed

I hope Carla is around for years to come. A breath of fresh air - fantastic character, and she had some great lines tonight.

I reckon Carla and Liam get it together.

Next week Corry should be back on track with the re-written peacock storyline as it will be three weeks since the decided to change it.

there's a double Corry episode a week Friday (15th), probably to compensate for the one we lost last Wednesday.
