They have reshot some of the scenes, probably have Friddie being found within a few hours rather than a few months.

Wouldn't be surprised that after the fire the peacocks gets rebuilt and the staircase put back where it's been for the last 17 years Rolling Eyes

I think they should have a spiral staircase and rotate it at random to see how cross it will make you.

I'm a bit miffed really that a good storyline is being dropped, although understandable. I'm just interested to see what we're going to have after the Paul Connor storyline? Maybe we'll see a return of Janice's nits? Rolling Eyes

Im almost certain Corrie films 4 weeks in advance - usually when there are spoiler pictures in the paper and they say such and such was filmed yesterday its almost always 4 weeks later on screen. Obviously this can vary and they film 5-6 weeks ahead in the lead up to Christmas to account for their 2 week production break.

As for Bruce Jones, notice that he hasnt been in it much at all - apart from that one scene in the cab office last Sunday. Cilla , Leanne and Janice have all mentioned him in scenes in the pub but he hasnt been seen. I wouldnt be bothered if he didnt return to be honest.

OK fair enough.

Funnily enough I would believe you over Sharon Marshall Cool !!

LOL! Thank You. I actually like Sharon Marshall - much better than the annoying Tina Baker. Ian Hyland is the best though Wink

Is that because Ian Hyland always (and rightly) slags off Deadenders all the time?!

With a bit of luck the fire will burn down the shed, with Daryl inside it Wink

should have called bev a harpy as she played a banshee in a kids programme some years ago

Oh right-- which kids programme was that?! Very Happy

I loved Suzie Blake as the continuity announcer before Acorn Antiques . "We apologise to our viewers in the north-- it must be awful for you!"

Speaking of Nigel Pivaro, what is he doing these days. I seem recall there was bother with the Greater Manchester police he had a while ago; I believe he's doing a degree course or summat Confused

I wonder if they dropped the kidnap plot out of fear of reality showing fiction up rather then being "out of respect". I really can't imagine the actors who play Ashley & Claire let alone the writers could do a storyline like child abduction any justice. It would have been all hysterics and no substance no doubt Rolling Eyes

They're getting out and about in Greater Manchester today in Coro.

I take it that Carla and Leanne were at the Beetham Tower. I was trying to work out what country park Fiz and the drama teacher were at? I though it was Werneth Low at first, but that doesn't have a stately home in it??? Confused

When Blanche said "I don't want to watch The Jeremy Kyle Show, I've been living it these past few months", what a pitty Harry Hill isn't on the air at the moment

He could have done a spoof Jeremy Kyle Show

"On today's show 'My Granddaughter is a murderer and now my son-in-law has run off with his fancy piece"
Joining us now is Blanche, Let's welcome Blanche on show..., Harry would then come on dressed as Blanche!

I thought it was rather dull tonight. I didn't watch the second episode - based on the "cliffhanger", I suspect I didn't miss much.

Yes, tonight's episodes were a bit boring I thought. I can't get too excited about Kirk or Fizz's love life, and all the other storylines such as Ken and Deirdre, Leanne and the Connors, Steve and Michelle, and Claire and the Sinbad family were all going over old ground with no developments.

I guess things will pick up later in the week.

As for Harry Hill moments, Deirde bursting into tears as Ashley talked about cuts of meat would have been a dead cert for inclusion. Wink

Sharon Marshall revealed that the Peacock's staircase was moved around a few months ago, with this week's forthcoming stunt in mind! "It would make the fire more dramatic apparently", that is the official line. Like any of us wouldn't notice the staircase being moved around Rolling Eyes Laughing

The painting behind Ken's front door, is Jesus with his hand on a Scout's shoulder, showing the scout the right way. I think SM said itwas called The Pathfinder . She did say that it had been there since "day one" and it was Albert Tatlock's originally.

Fiz's new love-interest John was in Emmerdale as the copper who split up with Louise last year.

Alison King (Carla Connor) has been in Coro before, as a bored housewife who Jason Grimshaw 'entertained' a couple of years ago. As well as a character on that celebrated soap Cleaner Close of course.
