Im almost certain Corrie films 4 weeks in advance - usually when there are spoiler pictures in the paper and they say such and such was filmed yesterday its almost always 4 weeks later on screen. Obviously this can vary and they film 5-6 weeks ahead in the lead up to Christmas to account for their 2 week production break.

As for Bruce Jones, notice that he hasnt been in it much at all - apart from that one scene in the cab office last Sunday. Cilla , Leanne and Janice have all mentioned him in scenes in the pub but he hasnt been seen. I wouldnt be bothered if he didnt return to be honest.

OK fair enough.

Funnily enough I would believe you over Sharon Marshall Cool !!

LOL! Thank You. I actually like Sharon Marshall - much better than the annoying Tina Baker. Ian Hyland is the best though Wink

In todays News of the World it was reported that Jack and Vera's eldest grandson Paul will return and move in with his grandparents. He will be a womaniser and cause Vera and Jack loads of grief just like his dad Terry did. Apparently they have a shortlist of 7 hunky actors to play the role of 21 year old Paul Clayton.

I hope this could mean the return of Terry as well, we are about due a guest appearance from him I think.

According to Cilla, Les has been persuaded to go on some rock tour with some bikers for 50days.

that's one way to write out a suspended actor

Don't stay away too long Bruce!

Also, anyone notice the song Chesney was singing at school WASN'T from Bugsy Malone? Presumably a few clearance issues there, but that would make little sense seeing as only a few weeks ago Sophie was singing "My Name Is Tallulah"...

But she was singing badly out of tune. Maybe it was deliberate.

I think Granada are being a bit unfair on Bruce Jones, I mean how many of us have sat in a pub slagging of our work collegues after a few pints., and you don't need any alcoholic inducement to have a go at call centers out in Bombay trying to settle an unpaied gas bill from Mrs X in Barrow in Furness.

The fact he also lost his father earlier this year whom he was really close to does not seem to matter to them, the poor bloke's grieving for God's sake, give him a break Rolling Eyes

They have! Rolling Eyes

I agree completly - I'm fed up with soap stars being suspended for relatively minor incidents, resulting in re-writes which ultimately damage the show.

The same applies for when bad parents abandon their children to go out for a meal with friends!

tut tut, that's a bit low.

Personally I'm glad they dropped the Freddie abduction storyline, it's a bit too depressing for their big summer story

So how could they have dropped it completly though, as its a main storyline starting Friday?

They have reshot some of the scenes, probably have Friddie being found within a few hours rather than a few months.

Wouldn't be surprised that after the fire the peacocks gets rebuilt and the staircase put back where it's been for the last 17 years Rolling Eyes
