I liked Ken's comment

noticed a few scenes with Freddie in cute baby mode to lead us up to the abdfuction that never happens

I hope they remove the whole baby abduction plot completely - how many child/baby "abductions" (or nutters wandering off with children) have there been on Corrie anyway? Seems like another recyled story really.

I've just realised that Deirdre looks like a Slitheen from Doctor Who!

I thought soaps film around 6 - 8 weeks in advance? I remember Sharon Marshall going on about this storyline, although she couldnt say what it was at the time, this seems like ages ago now Cool

Sharon Marshall said that Coro is filmed around six weeks in advance.
The girl who played Delilah Dingle said on This Morning that the filming schedule had changed greatly since she'd joined from filming six weeks in advance to three.

But that's Emmerdale. I'm sure Corrie doesn't film as close to transmission as that - Les was only in it last week and the news of Bruce Jones' immediate suspension came more than three weeks ago I'm sure.

Well it looks as though after 10 years Bruce Jones might not return...

Im almost certain Corrie films 4 weeks in advance - usually when there are spoiler pictures in the paper and they say such and such was filmed yesterday its almost always 4 weeks later on screen. Obviously this can vary and they film 5-6 weeks ahead in the lead up to Christmas to account for their 2 week production break.

As for Bruce Jones, notice that he hasnt been in it much at all - apart from that one scene in the cab office last Sunday. Cilla , Leanne and Janice have all mentioned him in scenes in the pub but he hasnt been seen. I wouldnt be bothered if he didnt return to be honest.

OK fair enough.

Funnily enough I would believe you over Sharon Marshall Cool !!

As for Bruce Jones... I have long been of the opinion that Les would run off with Yana after Cilla's exit. We haven't seen Yana for a while, so she is probably due an appearance soon; they will probably use her as a device to get rid of Les (not before time).

As for what would then happen to Chez, it seems uncertain in light of forthcoming events:
Kirk proposes to Fiz, who then dumps Kirk to run off with that drama teacher. I would imagine Kirk and Fiz would get back together again and adopt Chez full-time.

Regarding Cilla's exit, it seems obvious to me that her cancer will return, nobody will believe her until she dies. My theory anyway

Well if anyone recorded when Sharon Marshall said she was up at the Street to see the recording over two days, to when it transmitts next week, then that should give you an idea?
