Didn't want to post this until I heard that it was common knowledge (I'll just provide a link as it could still be seen as a spoiler)

Top marks for that photo!

Of course the appearance of the house like that rules out editing the storyline out completely.

here's the bbc link to it,

they will have to have the fire scenes as they are already filmed but can take out the missing baby storyline.

wonder why they didn't rearainge the staircase after the fire? it would have made more sense

But haven't they already filmed scenes where Freddie has gone missing?

they film around 3 weeks out so this weeks episodes would have been filmed around April 19th and next weeks around April 25th. There is nothing to stop them reshooting some scenes so that instead of Freddie being found missing he is rescued. This week they would be filming episodes for transmition the first week of June so there would be continuity issues with the story from then on unless they reshoot scenes filmed in the last few weeks.

They had to do that when Julie Goodyear was ill and did that story with Les and Janice getting it togther again

I thought soaps film around 6 - 8 weeks in advance? I remember Sharon Marshall going on about this storyline, although she couldnt say what it was at the time, this seems like ages ago now Cool

Sharon Marshall said that Coro is filmed around six weeks in advance.

I know eastenders is filmed about 7 weeks in advance so today they are filming episodes for transmition around 28th June (according to their plebsite)

when I saw some corry scenes being filmed a few years back I was there on May 6th and the scenes were transmitted on May 27th.

(It was the scenes where Clare runs over smichael)

not sure how far behind Emerdale is, brookside was about 8 weeks like eastenders so the Christmas episodes always had lots of brown crispy leaves all over the close (due to the fact they had real trees not fake ones)

Killer Blanchisms tonight!

"At his [Ken's] age he should be playing bowls and worrying about his prostate"

"Hairdressers are all man-stealers"

Some could argue that it was all Blanche's fault for interfering in the first place!

Last nights Corrie was excellent - great Blanchisms I agree.

There is no Corrie on Wed 23rd May due to the Footie so 4 episodes that week. Wouldnt be surprised if they show an extra episode the week after to account for this (probabaly when im on holiday so I will have even more episodes to catch up on when I get back.)
