Yes a great episode tonight and Blanche..yet again...interferring. Laughing Shame the episode was dominated by the Morton family.

Best line this week;

Blanche: (to Deridre) thats an evil thing to say
Deirdre: Oh im sorry Mother, I forgot, that your job isnt it!

joining the police while related to a rogue family, can they not come up with a different scenario, instead of just copying Emmerdale we already have Donna/the dingles playing this role. Agreed the Mortons are shockingly bad.

And im sure we had this storyline in Brookside as well with Rod Corkhill in the late 80s/early 90s.

what is the point of the Morten's Grandad character?

I think he is this year's Diggory

Sinbad is ok but none of the others have really done anything yet except serve a few kebabs

Some great lines in Wednesday's fantastic episode:

"Can you eat less noisily?"
- "They're crackers, do you want me to swallow 'em whole?"

And Violet's cracker:

"At least Sonny thought you were fit, I'd be lucky if a dog humped me leg!"

Sinbad/Jerry/Ken-who-still-hasn't-been-written-out-of-The-Royal is OK I think, has a bit of character. As for his litter, I couldn't give tuppence.

Daryl got a speeding ticket and tries to guilt-trip his sister into taking the rap. High drama indeed. I know an equally boring place they could move to next, it's called Walford.

Liked the line about Violet, feel sorry for her-- but glad she has a proper storyline again. There's hope for her; if Fred could get married to three women (almost five), then there's hope for a sweetheart like our Vi Laughing

Those cadbury ads were ace, much better than the current offering.

I heard on the radio this morning that Corrie bosses are considering dropping the storyline about baby Freddie's abduction due to the Madeleine McCann disappearance. There are concerns that having Ashley and Claire making a televised appeal in particular would be inappropriate at the moment.

This is the only article I've been able to find on it after a quick Google search.

Hmmm

Well the storyline takes centre stage towards the end of next week, but i guess they could cut the appeal out - hopefully by then everything will be sorted out.
