No that's how English sounds when spoken properly-- much better than a Kent accent anyway (only messing!)
There are 2 types of Kent accent, those that drop their t's and aitches and those that don't. Sometimes i wander if Mr H and i are talking about the same thing sometimes.
So proper English is over pronouncing your sh's. I'll remember that next time i meet the queen.
So Mr H doesn't drop his Ts and aitches, and you're common-- or is it the other way round?
Well the Queen over-pronounces everything, so she would understand

Liam? Really? He's pretty agreed but his voice is really very irritating. It's worse than listening to someone slurping soup.

The first episode was good. I don't know how they think they are going to get away with that. Now there in trouble.

Everybody on DS seems to think it was awful, which is odd because I thought it was one of the best episodes we've seen in a very, very long time. It was really well written and tightly put together. It was brilliant the way it was all set in the morning and all of the scenes were great to watch (nice to see an appearance from Jack). I liked the scene with Derek and Liz and Eileen with Holly. The factory scenes were brilliant and the cliffhanger was easily the best cliffhanger we've had in a long time. Well done Corrie.

I have a feeling Sally will coax the truth out of Vicky somehow
Good acting from the Connors too.
I agree nice to see Jack, great bit of comic relief. Vuuurnon wasn't that annoying tonight either... but Coro's answer to Mick Philpot, Jerry Morton (sorry Sinbad), is annoying me now. Well not him personally, but his massive family
As a side note, I wonder how Ken will leave The Royal ? I thought he would go when his character was sacked on Sunday-- but he was given the job back?!

Yes, sadly The Mortons continue to make a bad impression and were definitely the weak link in the second episode. It seems recently whenever we have a big storyline they have to shoehorn in The Mortons which detracts from the otherwise well written drama. I don't know how much longer I'm going to be able to cope with this family. I just can't warm to them at all.
The main reason is the size of the family. They'd have better off having Jerry, Jodie and and the other daughter. Get rid of her twin - he just seems to be an annoying version of David (whom I happen to like and who was also very funny tonight) and the youngest daughter Kayleigh. Kayleigh especially is an average actress when compared to the likes of Sophie 'Tallulah' Webster. This whole Finlay rubbish only increases the size of the family and lumbers us with yet another uninteresting storyline which the show could really do without.
But I mean, apart from that family, they were a good pair of episodes. The general consensus seems to be that The Connor's aren't that great but I really like them, especially Carla. And how good was Wiki? Hopefully they don't get rid of her. It would be great to find out more about the character and her family.
Also a special mention to the way it was filmed tonight. The sweeping shots in the factory were great, especially when Sally walked in at the end. They seemed to take more care in the way the episode was produced tonight and it looked lovely on screen.

A bit of channel flicking today and they were showing the first episode of The Royal as Sinbad was holding up the aerial outside as those inside were watching... Coronation Street!

I cant warm to the Mortons either but even they werent that bad in last nights episode.
I think the Connors are great, and some of the best characters we have at the moment. I like Carla a lot too and im glad they are using her more now than they had been. A shame Paul is leaving but I expect that will bring better storylines for Carla in the long term.

Whilst I did enjoy last night's episodes, I couldn't help feeling the whole premise of the storyline is flawed.
In the few hours after the death, the body would have gone stone cold which would have made it obvious that they'd waited a long time before calling the ambulance.
In reality, the paramedics would have spotted this immediately and the detectives would have questioned the Connors about it straight away.

I think you're right, not that I have that much experience with Polish corpses.
