Sinbad left Brookside around 2000 after being accused of child abuse by the jealous son of a girl friend. The accusation was false but he was so upset that all the neighbours didn't believe him that he left. This was due to Michael Starke wanting to leave.
In fact the original script was for Sinbad to be found guilty and sent to jail but Michael was so upset at how the scriptwriters could treat his character after 16 years that he made them change the script.

how boring, they did that with Nicky, David, Rosie, Tracey and probably every adolecent they've had on the programme in the last 47 years.

It would be a great shame for Chesney to become a teenager from hell - why not do the opposite for a change? My answer for the Battersby-Browns is for Les and Cilla to go leaving Fiz to move in with Kirk and Chesney. Chesney should become the kid with the dodgy background who works bloody hard to come good and go to uni or something positive for a change.
They need to start moving existing character's lives on rather than bring in people like the Mortons. The producers are just keeping people in their set places and roles a bit too much these days.

If what i hear is true won't Bethany leave when her mother does, unless they kill Sarah off and as Amy is now a pub dweller she could be a teenage alcoholic. I can see the scenes of her now sneaking behind the bar to sneak a shot or 10 of vodka when the Rovers is closed while Steve and Liz are in slumber oopstairs.
I saw those pics a while ago - ive also seen some pics where he has shaved his chest, not anywhere near as good. Should never shave it ever again!

I imagine Cilla's cancer will return (nobody will believe her of course), and she will pass away from that. With a bit of luck Les will run off with Yana, leaving Kirk and Fiz to look after Chez. Kirk, Fiz and Chez would work well together, great comic potential.
I think your idea of Chez achieving positive things and going off to uni would be great, since Chez is clearly a bright kid. It would be nice to see a teenager portrayed positively for a change-- just as long as he doesn't change heads in process

Chesney won't have a head change, he'll just regenerate into a fat boy with jet back hair and a different accent and nobody will notice
not really, they only change soap children who were cast a babies, unless the actor want to leave of course.
so Sam Aston will probably be kept as Chensey as he came in aged ten, where as Joshua will probably regenerate in about 6 years to a boy who looks and sounds completly different.
