7.9 (39.9%) …. Coronation Street (19:30) ITV1

The percentages to me are not important, its the millions which are Razz

I disagree with you there - the percentages are just as important as they show how many people out of the total number watching tv at the time are watching Corrie.

I expect quite a few people were stuck behind a caravan on the A64 trying to get back home!

Yes I agree. What a ridiculous comment to make.

Deliberate mistake in Coro tonight. Steve said the other day Tracey-luv had gone to Styal Prison-- yet Dreary and Kenneth were clearly shown going into HMP Redford!!:

Steve mentioned Styal Prison because it is the closest female prison (about 15 miles South of Manchester) and is well known in the area.

No doubt this is where she is supposed to end up if she is ever mentioned in later episodes. "HMP Redford" of course doesn't exist!

I thought that might be the case. Styal is the one that's 'next door' to Manchester Airport I think, just within Cheshire.

I don't think Tracey-luv's cellmate actually appeared on-screen did she? Laughing

I personally don't go by the percentages, i prefer to know the millions.

The actress playing Emma, Holly/Chloe's mum, looks familiar.

Was she once Cindy on Hollyoaks? if so, how bizarre a coincidence that her character once gave birth on Christmas Day to a baby subsequently called ... Holly?

If not...

... oh well...

What was the name of the actress who played the next-door neighbour of Jerry's ex-wife? I've seen on other things before; Phoenix Nights and Warburton ads... I missed the end credits d'oh Embarassed

But percentages give you a better idea of how a programme is doing. Some programmes can get 4 million on one channel (e.g. Channel 4) and be a hit but 4 million on another channel (e.g. BBC1 or ITV1) would be seen as a flop.

She was Cindy yes and her baby in Hollyoaks was indeed Holly. The actress is Stephanie Waring and she also played Emma in the Christmas Day episode but looked different as her hair was longer. She has more of a Cindy hairstyle now.
