I think the cancer storyline was mis-handled, and I wouldn't be surprised if it was partly why Wendi is going. They missed the one big chance to make Cilla a 3D character where we would find ourselves caring about her for once in true Corrie tradition; we may have understood more about why she's like she is, and they could've brought back her oldest son who was seen only briefly at the farce (sorry it was beyond farce, pathetic is the word) wedding storyline.
Another character goes to waste while they bring in piles of dead-wood all the time.

I agree - it would be an interesting storyline and would certainly give Wendi a chance to get her teeth into something. She's proved herself to be good at the more serious storylines in the past but this has been all too brief, and the producers seem reluctant to allow her to do anything other than comedy.

I mentioned in this earlier in this thread way back when, that the two CID officers who examined the scene made a point about the hand Charlie held his knife (and that he was left-handed), and which hand of Tracey was injured.
They acted out how the attack would have happened, and concluded it wasn't logical-- I imagine this why it has been brought up by the prosecution

was Charlie really left handed or does the prosecution just assume that because the knife was in his left hand

She's got to be found guilty. I heard on radio 1 today that both endings will be shown. Jack P Shepherd said that after the official verdict the alternative ending will also be broadcast, probably on itv2. I can't wait till Monday.

Oh, that'll be nice to see the other ending. Can't wait.

Yes it will be good to see the alternative ending - if only to prove they did actually film 2. Sometimes I dont believe them when they say they film 2 endings - spoiler pictures yes, filming no.
