Well it could be worth the wait Razz

Your right this a long way off. I wonder what they will do for the 50th Anniversay. I think that would be the time for Ken to leave the street, a nice round figure. Also have a street party, a few revelations and a fire to round things off.

It wouldn't be a great loss. He's one of the show's worst over-actors IMO.

Of course if he claims his drink was spiked and nobody can prove otherwise - it's not like they've got photos of him actually taking anything - ITV would be on dodgy ground if they were to sack him.

Of couse they could just choose not to renew his contract when it comes up.


No great loss I agree. The girl who plays Amber acts him off the screen in any scenes they have together, and she isnt all that great an actress herself. I do find her very amusing though. If he goes she should stay.



Er how could could she stay in the show if he leaves?

She would have to go back to her mum (the actress who played PC Habib in The Thin Blue Line, name escapes me for the moment!)who now lives in Scandinavia.

The only way she could stay surely would be if Mummy came back to England, assuming she'd inherit the business, bearing in mind Dev did put it about a bit, plus Sunita, as his legal wife, surely would have an interest too!

(It would be interesting personally to see if both original actresses would return to those roles, either permantly or briefly!)

Why get rid of Ken? That would be scarilegious!

BTW Mina Anwar from The Thin Blue Line played Amber's mother, who moved to Finland (not technically part of Scandanavia but that's another matter!)

Good episode tonight. Good, not great. Corrie is doing OK at the moment, it's all quite interesting but I still think there's something missing these days. There's no real hook.
