Strange how they never found the bomb when they built them houses, isn't it!

And with Vernon, Sean and Sonny all trapped on the Street, I'm sure I wasn't the only one wishing for an explosion! Twisted Evil

Roy did explain how the bomb could have been moved around on the site within a mound of earth or brought closer to the surface following previous developments... which I suppose is possible.

I really enjoyed the episodes tonight, plenty of funny scenes and lines.

I'm sick of Steve chasing Michelle though, I hope they don't do the obvious and get them together in the end.

I found tonights episodes disappointing considering they were written by my favourite writer.

At least 3 times they have knocked down and built new buildings on that site (1968, 1971 and 1989/90) Are we really expected to believe they wouldnt have discovered the bomb then if it has meant to be there since WW2! Even Reet and Doreen's scenes were rubbish.

A shame they didnt use this as a way of killing off Sean and Vernon yes! And Sonny has shown his true colours well and truly now. I dont like him anymore - poor Michelle. Sean is just as bad as Sonny is.

I noticed Liam was in 2 scenes tonight but had no lines - is he an overpaid extra now then? Wink

Strange reference from Carla about Janice being "wet and alcoholic" tonight. Have they even met?

One thing gets me, it may just be my "blonde" moment but if a bomb has been in the ground for over 60years or so, what are the chances of it going off? (I'm talking about in "real life" as well). In the Anglia region, there has been a few where they have found unexploded bombs and people evacuated. Just wondered what the actual risks are.

And of the three, Sean and Sonny really did end up getting blasted to heaven... Laughing

Am I the only one that found Sonny & Sean (I always want to say Cher) having 'relations' in Jamies bed a bit off ?

or when they built Baldwins factory or the maisonettes for that matter. The bomb would have had to hit the back corner of the raincoat factory to end up where it was and it would have done some damage so surely they would have found it then. (any reference to that in the corry pre tv history?)

some unexplained absences though. Ken, Deirdre, Blanche, Emily, Cilla, Yarna, Vera, Molly and Bill (Liam and sally suddenly appeared back in the factory weren't at the community centre)

Kevin could have been on a breakdown, Dev at another shop and Lloyd and Les on taxi runs. All the kids bar Chesney and Sophie would have been at school. (so how did Sally not notice that Sophie had bunked off?)

Talking of school when was half term meant to be. Amber was off last week and Chesney was off two weeks ago, and they go to the same school

yes I did think it gross of sean and sonny in Jamie's bed. Like anybody would go into somebody's house and just casually go upstairs to have sex with their friend

Apparently its not the first time they've discovered a bomb on the street. My parents recalled Ena Sharples gathering everyone to the church hall back in the 70s.

that bomb was in the Barlows yard. (it was Albert Tatlock's then)

didn't think much of that evacuation, nearly 20 people were unaccounted for or even mentioned including the children who would have come out of school whilst the street was still evacuated. When the residents all returned to the street it was night and none of the parents seemed at all concerned about their absent children. So where did Josh, Beth, Rosie, Ryan and Amber go after school, I guess Amy was with her absent grandparents and great gran mother. (just remembered Violet and Adam as well)

Can't corry afford to have the whole cast in for such an episode. Eastenders seem to manage it and so did Brookside.
