Someone mentioned on Teletext p143 the other day how it was obvious that ultimately Carla and Liam would end up having an affair.

Can't say I've seen signs of that myself - with Frankie and Jamie I thought it was obvious from the moment they moved in, but I just don't see it happening at the moment with Carla and Liam - though this news I guess makes it more likely.

I agree, I dont see anything between Carla and Liam either.

It would be so boring if they went down the route of "character having an affair with brothers wife" - Zzzzzzzzzzzzz

500 pages! Smile

If you combine it with the original, now defunct CS thread, it's even longer/more.

What did everyone think of Corrie using incidental music for this scene:

Personally I loved it, one of the best episode endings in ages.

Well post count is just a number really. Mine wouldnt be that high if it wasnt for this thread!

500 pages of discussion (more than 500, as pad quite rightly pointed out we had another Corrie thread before this) proves that Corrie is very popular with members here.

I loved it too.

Id like them to do it more often but only if it was appropriate to the episode.

Happy 500th.

I enjoyed tonight's episode - and I really love Becky now! The final scene was lovely with the curtains.

Becky's character was very well developed. Happy 500th from me also, from Andrew.

Just have to get on the 500th page...

How sad is it that I thought immediately of Jez's significant other on reading about Paul Connor?

I suppose Frost has done a good job of making previously unlikeable characters likeable - Becky and Molly at least. Still hate Vernon, doubt that'll change.

I notice Molly has been given a potentially good role on the Street after a long period of absence-- as shop assistant at Dev's (presuming she takes the job). I must admit I'm starting to warm to Becky now. Although Vernon is annoyingly pointless; it's a pity that Jim is in the Big House these days, so it is.

Speaking of renovating parts of the Street, nice to see the Battersby-Browns have finally got round to decorating the smoke-damaged (from Maya's cornershop fire?) wallpaper Laughing Looks at least habitable now.

I guess that the sun must be especially powerful over Weatherfield at this time of year, because David seems to have got a deep tan over the past few days Wink Least he's got that horrid mane sorted out Laughing .

The Battersbys was water damaged when the bath came through the ceiling not fire damaged when the corner shop was torched. The only house damaged by the fire was the Websters' next door to the shop
