I'm confused - isn't Sally still pregnant? I thought that was why you only got a head shot or her covering her bump with a piece of paper.

She cant still be pregnant, she had the baby in early November, these scenes would have been filmed 3-5 weeks ago at the most, so they would have been filmed early/mid January.

Maybe she is back for a few scenes and then she will be gone again, just so we dont forget the character

I think you are right about that, as the Christmas magazine said that they film the Christmas episodes at the beginning of November, plus when Peter Kay was on Terry and Gaby before Christmas he said that they were filming his stuff about a week before Christmas and it went out at the beginning of the month.

Thought Corrie was okay tonight, nice to see this whole Cilla / Rita thing is at an end, as it is annoying me, though I thought it was very funny when Cilla said you can't get any compo from your own mam!

As ever it is still getting better on Granada Plus, Carmel is now starting to get evil, just loved 'The Happy Hour' in the Rovers too, can't say I have seen it that empty. BTW When does Lisa come back into it?

Yes they film the Xmas episodes around Mid November, this is because they take a break from filming over Xmas, so when they come back in January they are filming episodes being seen in about 3-4 weeks time.

It is good the storyline with Rita and Cilla has come to an end because it was starting to drag on a bit, lets hope Barbara Knox is given another storyline soon. Cilla apparently gets a job at the rovers, Shelly is desperate for staff so she takes Cilla on as a temp apparently.

Yes the Plus episodes are very good atm, although I prefer the ITV1 episodes. On Plus today Deirdre realised that Maggie was the person Mike had an affair with all those years ago and that Mike is Mark's father, but why on earth did she tell Tracy? Surely it wont be long before she opens her big mouth. Lisa is back on the show in about 2 weeks or so I think, we reach the end of 1992 in about 2 weeks as well which is when Carmel goes a bit mad

This Karl/Carl fellow is "geeeeee" according to Katy/Katie, so I don't understand how him and Todd/Tod can have a relationship. Todd/Tod is "gay" and Karl/Carl is "geeeeee", so surely they're incompatible.

The Sun is today reporting that Nick will be left fighting for his life following a fire at Mike Baldwins factory. He will collapse whilst trying to save Janice from the fire that she started. A show insider said: “Janice goes for a sneaky cigarette to spite Nick when he bans smoking. Viewers will be left wondering if they survive.”

So, we know Nick will be leaving but are they about to kill him off ? Surely not more misery for Gail.

Yippee - Corrie got all the covers in today's TV mags (minus Radio Times, lol)

Yes indeed, Inside Soap had Steve/Karen on the cover, TV Choice had Corrie for the 3rd week in a row TV Times and TV Quick also had the Corrie wedding, but the biggest shock of all was Whats on TV getting a Corrie cover, first one in months

Meanwhile Inside Soap has a 6 page special on the Emmerdale and Corrie weddings, 4 pages of that are devoted to Corrie with lots of pictures! Inside SOoap also confirmed the news that Bradley Walsh is joining, Liz and Lianne are returning long term and that the 5 axed stars are definately going.

I too heard about the fire, I think Nick will probabaly be killed as he is leaving the show. I wonder how the will write out the others?

And for those of you that watch Corrie on Granada Plus, I think we reach the end of 1992 next week as im certain these storylines happen at the end of 1992.

Monday 16th Feb - Alf is rushed to hospital
Tuesday 17th Feb - Martin regrets the night before
Wednesday 18th Feb - Mike meets his son for the first time and Martin is tormented by Carmel
Thursday 18th Feb - Alma is furious
Friday 19th Feb - Mike is stunned when Ken turns him away from Maggie's house, and Des has an emotional reunion with Lisa in Blackpool.

Also next Wednesday 18th Feb we have a special about Karen/Steve on ITV2 at 8pm

Wow it sounds really good, I havent seen these before so they sound very interesting, you can tell it is coming to Christmas 1992 as people have started putting the decorations up, it was very funny with the whole Mother Claus at Betterbuys, simply because they didn't want Percy Sugden as Santa. Good to see that Carmel is now getting more mental?

BTW What has Martin done that he regrets? It sounds really good, I know they sleep together on Christmas Day, or is that earlier?

God its weird writing spoilers for such old storylines

Yes I saw the storylines back in 1992 buts its good to see them all again, IIRC Martin doesnt sleep with Carmel, but Alf is taken ill so Gail goes to stay with Audrey and Carmel goes to bed in Martin's bed, so a drunken Martin comes home and thinking its Gail in the bed gets in too - so he is horrified the following day. Apparently Carmel tries to say Martin slept with her and that she is pregnant, but Gail and her end up having a row at the top of a stair case and in a struggle Gail accidently throws her down the stairs. Turns out she is mentally ill and goes back to Ireland.

Also Des and Lisa get together, but Lisa is killed in February 1993 after being knocked down by a car outside the rovers.

Tracy tells Ken that Mike is Marks father, Ken is upset as he hates Mike and tells Maggie the reason he hates him is cos he had an affair with Deirdre. Tracy tells Mark he is Mike's son, in revenge for this Maggie tells Tracy that Deirdre and Mike had an affair in 1983.
