Is Roy's getting a new look? as it needs one.

I would imagine so. Number 5 has had a long overdue new look. Next on the list should be the Rovers - its a bit dated now as it has been the same since 1986!

they've done up the rovers mock up where they do the interviews so why not the real rovers?
maybe they could set it on fire in june to mark the 21st aniversary of it buring down the last time. They could revamp it so that it fits into the external space for the first time in 47 years

The actual bar area does fit into the external space - it didnt before the fire in June 1986 as the select room would be in the middle of Rosamund Street. The living area doesnt fit into the external space now though.

They should revamp the Rovers interior and then do the titles again with some new shots of the Street. Dev's shop is old now and it'd be nice for some new shots.

Also, a rather big spoiler on who's quit:
It's Sean Gallagher, aka Paul Connor, who is apparently 'fed up' and will be killed off in the Summer

I thought the producers wanted to have a fire at Roy's to get the set updated. Which is probably what is going to happen now, and I take it this is the new family on the street. Link: ITV1: New Family on the Street

Thanks, from Andrew.

If true that's a shame:

Not only is he central to the Conner family, we don't need yet another Corrie death. Can't he leave in the back of a cab or something!

Clearly Steve Frost is a sensationalist-seeking idiot, who thinks death is the only way out.

I'm not sure the phrase 'killed off' necessarily means dieing, remember this is a tabloid paper which needs sensational headlines
