Not enough. There's still a lot of deadwood in the cast.
Such as? Apart from Kelly, Jamie, Sean and Vernon I wouldnt really want to get rid of anyone else at the moment.
They got rid of most of the annoying ones like Diggory, Keith, Nathan - and of course we lost Danny, Charlie, Bev, Craig, Mike and Fred who were all good characters.
IMO the show would improve a great deal if it were to lose these characters. I'm sure there a few more but these are the ones that spring to mind.
Hmm well Cilla is going anyway in the autumn. I wouldnt miss most of those you listed mainly because the likes of Adam and Molly are underused not because I really dislike the characters.
I wouldnt like to see Liz and Joanne leave though.
Liz used to be a good character but her return hasn't been a successful one in my opinion. I wouldn't mind if she stayed, she's hardly unbearable - but having her as the landlady of the Rovers doesn't work IMO.
Joanne is a poor character as well. Once again, I wouldn't mind if she stayed, but she's underused and when she is used she's given awful 'filler storylines' like her fling with Liam. The actress is average at best.
Liz was the safe choice for the Rovers - personally I'd have gone for Frankie at the time, buying it from the proceeds of her divorce.
However, now I think it would have been a better way of bringing Carla into the show - becoming her sister in laws new boss and ruffling a few feathers as she attempts to bring the Rovers into the 21st century.

I disagree about Zarrah Abarhams (Joanne) being an average actress. I think she is very good and she is one of my favourite characters. She is miles better than Kelly.

They will need Yana to fill the void that Cilla leaves I should imagine.
Bear in mind there are now five episodes of Coro a week; so they probably need some incidental characters, to give the more frequently-used characters a break.
Molly I quite like, but for some reason is under-used along with Tyrone. I see Molly and Tyrone as natural successors to Jack and Vera, when the latter pair eventually depart.
I can't see what else they can do with Dev now, but getting rid of him would mean getting rid of Amber; a bit unfair since she's only settling in and think she has good potential.
Kirk and Fiz a great couple (they will probably end living together will Chez), but Kirk could do with a good comedy storyline to justify his existence-- he's being wasted at the mo.
Adam-- what's the point of him? Plus Sam Robertson's acting is as crap his hair Vernon again does nothing of use.
Jamie is at a loose end now the rest of his family have departed, so Coro could lose him. All he does is mope round.
Sean... I seem to be alone in liking Sean! I think he is good for comedy storylines and banter at the pub/factory-- but he is way overused admittedly (obviously that story
must
be true since it was in a Murdoch rag )
Kelly I don't like, because of Tupele Dorgu's hammy acting; she should join
Emmerdale
as Marlon Dingle's long-lost soulmate or something.
Joanne: I can't see anything wrong with her really; other than she is underused. Although she is not the loudest resident on the Street, she does have a lot of charm I reckon.
Lloyd is there to make up numbers at Streetcars and act as a sidekick to Steve... but I can't say I missed him during his "sabbatical"
