I hope its Anthony Cotton who quits!

I'd be over the moon if it was him.

Me too - just Kelly and Vernon to get rid of them and it would be the perfect cast Smile

The son of the new family was just interviewed on Calendar. He's from West Yorkshire (which is good, although will 'Sinbad' be a scouser?), he's also apparantly friends with Jack P Shephard in real life

the storyline of Chesney finding a UXB is a bit implausable because he finds it in
the peacock's garden

which makes no sense consideirng this area has been redeveloped 4 times since 1945

Some spoilers from All About Soap -fortnight ending 9th March 2007.

The bomb scare happens on 26th February and the residents are all evacuated. This saves Tracy from a difficult situation with David Platt.

Sonny proposes to Michelle and she accepts however a jealous Steve tells Michelle about Sonny's affair with Sean. Michelle doesnt believe him at first but when she confronts Sean she learns the truth and dumps Sonny.

Jane Danson returns to the show as Leanne on 2nd March. Leanne has been in Spain and made lots of money selling luxuary apartments. However she has also got herself mixed up in something much more sinister.

In other news, Ken is surprised when old flame Denise arrives back in Weatherfield this Spring.

It'll be quite good to see Denise back. I thought she was quite a good character. Presumably she'll bring her and Ken's son as well?

As far as I'm concerned though, I'd be happy to see Leanne stay in Spain. She's always got on my nerves.

It mentions that Ken tracks down Denise as he wants to see his son.

Me too - im not keen on Leanne but I do like Jane Danson. And the interview implies that Leanne goes after Liam - that is not good! However after the way he treated Joanne perhaps him and Leanne deserve each other!

Totally agree, I liked it when she was in Corrie.

Hmm, so we are going to continue discussing Corrie in invisible ink now are we ?

Anyway, what with this new Morton family coming, the Connors, Rita's new friend, and the return of some former cast members, the cast seems bigger than ever.

Which is not a good thing. There's no balance. They should be getting rid of people if they're bringing more in. And they seriously need to be getting rid of people.

There are too many people not connected to a storyline who just don't do anything

Tyrone & Molly
Jack & Vera (occasional cameo appearances but I guess thats ok as they are legendary)
Dev & his daughter

Peter Barlow seems to have disappeared, only really coming back conveniently in time to be beaten up by Charlie. Adam could easily be axed without anyone noticing, and I don't really see a point to Jamie Baldwin now the rest of the clan have gone.

I take it Maureen's appearance was a one-off for the Christmas Day comedy ? Rather than opening up another fast food outlet, Sinbad ought to have been taking over the corner shop and got rid of Dev in the process.
