Hmm... As Jez said I'll only watch for Amber's snarky comments. Laughing

"I don't need a make over Amber, OK? I am Coronation Street's Casa nova OK , and don't you forget that hmmm-- OK!!!?"

Amber is a bit like an older version of Sophie; an adoloscent who is more sensible, wiser and more down-to-earth than the adults around her! I think Sawpheh's and Amber's witty incisiveness are great for some of the lighter stories Cool

ITV RE-UNITES TV COUPLE FOR SPECIAL SOAP SERIES

Former soap stars Jeremy Edwards and Terri Dwyer have been reunited to front a brand new series for ITV1 that will reveal the secrets behind Britain’s best-loved soaps.

In Coronation Street Confidential and Emmerdale Confidential Jeremy, 35, and Terri, 32, who played husband and wife Kurt Benson and Ruth Osbourne in Hollyoaks, will go behind-the-scenes on the sets of the two soaps and will uncover the latest twists and turns in the plots, meet new characters and uncover the dressing room secrets of the cast.

The show will be aired everyday for four weeks and will spend two weeks with each soap.

Terri and Jeremy will be revealing exclusive sneak preview clips of up-and-coming storylines and interviewing cast members as well as the behind-camera workers who have seen all the secrets the soaps have to offer.

And they’ll be learning the real on-set tricks-of-the-trade from stunt co-ordinators, extras, make-up artists and animal trainers.

I assume this will be going in the 5pm slot. I can see this being yet another flop, and deservedly so. ITV need to make an effort at finding a good show to work in daytime, this is just lazy.

You assume wrong. It's going to be on at 3pm from Feb 12th

What an odd time to show it. As if anyone is going to watch it in that time slot. Infact ITV's entire afternoon schedule looks odd with 25 mins of Dancing on Ice as well.

So it appears despite OFCOM telling them otherwise, childrens programming won't be returning to ITV1 afternoons for a while yet!

Cant see the line up they have in the afternoons getting any better ratings than children's programmes though. A lot of it is repeats.

it is a daft time to show it as any parents who are interested will be standing at the gates of the local primary school at 3pm.

and teachers who are interested will be coming home from work so I've set my video Wink

It get's a lot better ratings that childrens programmes. Morse has been getting around 2m whereas childrens programmes in the same slot would get a few hundred thousand.

Ooh, stevek - are you one of the axes of evil too? A... teacher?

<gasps>

Silly time to have it on. Desperate Housewife tv.

Be interesting to see how it does in the ratings then.

Going way off topic here but anyone know how ITV have been doing in the afternoon ratings since CITV was dropped?

I don't think Noel should be worried yet!
